cheap and gaming dont always go together but you can build yourself a decent PC for under a $1000. Are you able to build your own PC or are you looking for one ready built. Tiger Direct are pretty good for parts but I think it would be best to head down to your local independant PC store and talk to them about your budget and what they can put together for you if you are looking for ready built
Good luck and I hope you find something that suits your needs
Do you have a friend or a friends friend that can build comptures? If so I would strongly suggest that you and him/she builds the compture togheter. It will be cheaper, you will get a much much much stronger compture and you learn a new skill (just like mmos and crafting :P )
Build it.. If you are wearing on building it, read on the web the basics... It's honestly not hard at all.
Go to newegg.com after learning a little on how to put together a PC, and start looking for some parts. Or if you gave me a budget I can select parts for you and you can put them together. Its allll plug and play, with a little bit of screws and a philips screw driver..
But if you're still wearing about building one, try cyberpower.com

i agree with the other posters if there is anyway you can build your own or have someone build one for you that is definitly the way to go. you get what you want in the pc and therefore what you want out of it. cyberpower doesnt look too bad tho if you wanna buy one. stay away from alienware tho way too expensive
Building is the most best. You can find bargains and make it cheaper than buying them made. But otherwise newegg or tigerdirect is what i would go with
I'm going to have to disagree with everyone here and say do not build your own rig if you don't know what you're doing. In my line of work I've seen a number of people that have cracked motherboards, bent processor pins, and burnt out USB ports because they didn't know what they were doing.
Theres nothing wrong with buying a pre built PC. You will spend a little more, but you have a warranty and support whereas you don't have to worry about using the manufacturers warranties. (building your own PC could have you running to many different manufactueres just to RMA a part or get support).
Go with Newegg. TigerDirect is okay.. but Newegg has the best support and the customer reviews will help you choose the computer thats right for you.
yes ur right, if u have no previous knowledge of building a pc then dont even try to build a expensive one..maybe a cheap one for practice. I loved to build stuff since elementary so I dont mind doing it. starting from fixing my sega genesis that broke after growing up a bit or customizing things. Building a pc and looking through old parts to use is one of my hobbies after basketball, art, music etc
nothing is wrong with prebuilts except that you cant choose all your parts
Cyberpower is ok. Ive read nothing but bad reviews of them getting sent to your house not cabled and stuff like that though.
Building your own PC is alot cheaper than buying prebuilt. The only experience Ive ever had with PC's iss changing Vid cards and I was able to build one. Its not hard, its Plug and play, liek chaning a light bulb. watch an online tutorial and you know how to build one.
The biggest thing that turns people off is lack of warranty. If yu buy from Newegg everything is warrantied by them. Pretty much every part I bought is warrantied by the manafacturer for a loong time aswell. So infact I get the same warranties as a prebuilt for a lot cheaper.

Tigers Direct
