Lf Sci fi game
hey, xD been tryin ALOT of games lol, i think i got a style of game i like lol. anyone know a sci fi game with open pvp and Job advancements? A lot of ppl would be nice too lol. idk much about grind but not too too much lol. so thats rly it xD if anyone knows any pls post lol, thx ^^. (p.s a nice amount of jobs would be nice too xD so there arent like a bunch of ppl bein the same job lol ^^;)

The first thing I thought in my head was EVE Online.
Unfortunately, I can't really think of any other Sci-Fi MMOs. They're quite rare compared to their more popular counterparts.

The only 2 released sci fi mmos I know of are EVE and Anarchy Online. I don't know much about EVE, and Anarchy Online doesn't really have job advancements - but it's free to play so maybe check it out in case it fits your needs. Nothing lost if you don't end up liking it.

Eve is pretty cool. I came back after a long break and it got a free trial or any member can get you a 21 day trial as well.
Most the the sci-fi games out there right now are not too good. Eve is about the only one worth anything right now(I don't care for Eve, but can't deny that is isn't too bad). There are other space games out there and a few of them are not too bad. It really depends on what your looking for and what you put into it. The others are Jumpgate(The original), Vendetta Online, Taikodom(A south American space game), SWG(I think there's still options to fly a ship, been a long time) and Galaxy Online(Real cartoony). There are a few in development that might be worth keeping your eyes on.
1) Infinity: The Quest For Earth This game has been in development for a long long time and probably can be called vaporware. It's being made by a very very small group of people. The game looks great and will be one I try if it ever comes out. You can check it out and try the combat simulator, it's not bad at all.

3) Star Trek Online
That's the only space one's that I know of. All these games are listed here, except Taikodom, so it will be easy to check them out.
If your looking for non-space related, you might keep an eye on Earth Rise and Fallen Earth.

Galaxy Online is not released yet, it only has a alpha client.
StarQuest doesn't really have class like job advancement, might not be what your looking for.
Eve your always a ship, for right now
SWG would probably be your best bet, though I don't know much about their combat, they definitely have job advancement.

Sounds a bit like Planetside... if you don't mind that it's an action MMO, not an RPG.

Not that I'm saying its better than my game (in my opinion), but it seems to me that EvE or SWG fits your description the best of what we have right now.

as far as SciFi, i dont think you have much of a choice as of today, EvE is top of the top, best of the best by general consensus.
however, even if EvE is not rated M, you will most likely not like it if you are under 20 or so...
