OB/CB Character wipe

You guys think it will happen or not?   I for one want a wipe so everyone will start evenly, but Blizzard has seemed to cave in on some of the more intense issues and might allow chars to roll over to retail....

 

 

opinions?   thoughts?   anyone got a clue why there is part 17 or whatever (i cant speak/read/write spanish, and they are doing the thread numbers in spanish) and about 30 pages on each of the 10+ threads....

 

anyway, i cant get any info from the WoW boards, or devs, or friends that have been in CB for months....   so info is kinda lacking and i'm hoping someone on here will know something... or at least be able to make a good point on whether or not it will be wiped.

    Wipe or no wipe, I'm still going to play. Doesn't matter either way; in the end we'll al be level 60.

    Wipe them bastards clean... It would not be fare for all the people who Preordered and did not get to particapate in the Open beta, which is over a hundred thousand I assure you.

    Either way, though, I can't believe Blizzard hasn't told us yet..

    I'm for a character wipe too. It would be unfair to people who couldn't get into beta if Blizzard let people rollover their characters.

    wipe is virtually certain.  blizzard is just choosing not to announce it.   ask youself, "why else would blizzard hold a raid contest allowing a guild to preserve a guild name if they aren't doing a full wipe?"

    Wipe is definitely happening. Beta testing is to make sure all bugs are gone, whether these be serious or major. Some of which might effect a persons account if exploited. Plus all these inactive accounts and such, its just a good fresh clean start.

    It really does not matter to me what they do. I will be fine with either decision they come up with. It's just irritating going to the official boards and seeing "Character Wipe Discussion: Part (Insert spanish numeral here)". It's kind of sad how they keep making a new thread about it every day, currently being part 15 (Quince). I wish they would say it already.image

    Thats true...I dont know why so many people are scared that they will wipe, yes yes I know that they put many hour into getting X level. But its not like your only going to have 1 character

    I would recommend a wipe of all characters. It starts everyone off fresh and new. Possibly even reinvigorating those who've played in the CB.

    is there no wipe ... Blizz will be... GREATLY disaspoint me. I can play OB .. but, The guy who can't will be a bit angry to be left alone ... and will think he was stypuid to wait till release to play .. and so on
