MICROSOFT ONLINE SVCS -------------------------------- 12.95

 

What could this be? I have no clue why I owe microsoft 13 dollars!

    I wasn't aware of this particular instance, but I've had similar cases involving continued billing in the past with both Microsoft and Simutronics. It's one of the reasons I did away with my CC. I've had one-month free trials on games which require a valid credit card number, and if you don't manually cancel it, then you do get billed for that month I believe - even if it is a "free" monthly trial. I think it's always best to cancel this "free" trial a week ahead of time if you want to keep it free.

    I've had the same response when calling up about bills on my card sometimes. I let others in my family use it for games so it was a hassle. I ended up getting the last name out of one of the people I called and found out who it was that way by guessing at names.

    I built my computer, I didnt buy it.

    I only use MSN Messenger, and to my knowledge you dont have to pay for that?

    What does SVCS stand for? What is this stuff?

    It doesnt give real anwsers, and her total was 21.95, not 12.95
