So I was like farming this dragon with my level 60 wizard, and he dropped "Rune Smudged Bone Spear of Indestructable Frost Penetration Created by Thagor the Mighty One of Othmir" and then I asked my virtual girlfriend out, and she rejected, so I hung myself.
Both are amazing games, but comparing them is like apples and oranges. Two completely seperate ideas behind them.

More seriously, though I think both games will be great, I just like WoW more. I don't have a reason, just more of my tastes when it comes to gaming. I haven't played both yet, but from looks, and having played WoW naturally I would like it more.
Either way, I don't care what fans from either games do anymore. It really doesn't bother me if you come here and bash the game or if one of our own goes and does the same. When I say "you," it is just a general "you" not really specefically talking to or about anyone person.

I agree, you know what's funny? The eq2 fanboi's are boasting eq2 as this awesome game (I'm playing it currently) ... Well I have yet to find anything awesome about it. But, I'm going to keep playing till my free time runs out... maybe I will discover the fun part... <shrug>

9216544 is obviously a very confused child, and I think his opinion on World of Warcraft has more to do with the state of his mental health than the actual game.
Without wanting to offend anyone I find that in general people who are big fans of Everquest 2 are more likely to have poor spelling and grammar (a fair indicator of someone's general intellect IMO) and yet they consider themselves to be the "hardcore" of the MMO community. I genuinely believe that people only play it out of an irrational, pointless elitism, because I've tested it myself and it can't hold a candle to World of Warcraft.

WoW might be fun if your 9, i found it to be extremely lacking...
first of all i couldnt stand the gfx everything looks so gay, once again appealing to the saturday morning crowd
absolutely no reason to play the game in a group
no combat combos (heroic oppertunity)
the community was garbage in OB (lets hope the launch crowd isnt so retarded.)
lack of mob models, i started a char on wow ob and what was out there some wolves, some birds, and some emus, and when they got too easy guess what i found at a higher level....wolves, birds, and emus with slightly modified names...what kinds of things have i seen in 1 area in EQ2 area outside of freeport, orcs, armadillos, elephants, bats, undead (skele and ghosts), savanna lions, dogs, snakes, beetles, rats, monitor lizards and the list goes on, and i havent even explored the whole region
way too easy to level, didnt seem like an accomplishment, and from the way that sounds, seems wow is gonna be yet another "grind to endgame" mmo=ebay

and just to make my thoughts clear, you can converse on a game w/o trash talking about it.....
which is what i usually do, but most of the time i get slammed for it..... and i didnt really think anything about the crowd that WoW would draw until i read the thing about the ppl slamming this guy for not speaking english correctly, which really pissed me off.... now i'm starting to think that all the 15 year olds playing D2 for years are going to be lined up to buy this and make the community full of morons.....

I said FIRST IMMPRESSION, when I posted that thread, I still feel the same way even after getting a little plassed lvl 20. Call me a fanboi if you want, its not really an insult. IF you solo, say at lvl 10, you can get 500 xp a quest, plus the 80 xp for killing the 25 mobs, if you group, its 20 xp a kill, and hunting a 10 mob spawn area. Which do you think is better?
I think you should play the game before immaturely insulting my personal experience. I think this is more of a obsession to some of you blizzard fans.

You dont need 100 quests to lvl i can do 3 and gain a lvl its posts like that and theres another one around here also that says in a nutshell you hate the game its lacking so much content go play EQ2 instead. You wonder why we call you a EQ2 fanboy? If you dont understand why alot of us think your a hater then you infact do have a mental health problem
please do not play it, I am playing final stress test and I am extremely disapointed. The game is lacking in content so much, I have no goals once so ever to get to a high lvl. If you want to play a simple mmo then play WoW, but if you want a massive game with alot more potential, play EQ2. WoW is probly the most boring game I have played as of yet, the only thing that is keeping my interested in crafting. My human rogue continues to skin, then make my self armor, then force my self to do more quets. The game is fun for only so long, but after you get past your 10th quest out of 1000000, you will be bored. Trust me.
