Meaniful PVP, Guild Building

I am looking for a game where the pvp means something and can have a major impact on the world. 

I also want their to be a struggle between 2 or more factions.

I would also like an element where the guild builds something to contribute to this struggle (ie fort or castle).

    Well Daoc For Once has the relic system in pvp that does an impact on the world.. Or else i would suggest AOC if you havent tryed it you can join a guild and build castles/forts and begin siege with other guilds and try to take their castle

    AOC I heard bad things about the launch have the bugs been fixed?

    Does the guild build a fort/base and attack other guilds?

    Any other recommendations?  Any new games with the pvp world influence on the horizon?

    You play WAR and they have PvP, guilds, two factions and castles.

    If you want to make a big impact in a game i suggest you swerve clear from mmo's.

    Its an older game, but Shadowbane is probably the only game I've played that has what you are asking for.
