World’s most Hi-tech Bed

Quite simply this bed has everything; Wireless Internet, check, LCD Projector, check, iPOD dock, yeap - it even has an anti-snoring device which raises the bed by 7 degrees until the snoring stops and then resets. This then is probably the best bed in the World

Wow~That looks pretty cool, especially the Sofa; And the heat sensitive tiles..they look like they'd be good to detect a fire in the house.

This bed is called the Starry Night and is made by Leggett & Platt (I happen to know L&P's Vice-president of product development in their bedding division).  It's starts at $20,000 stripped to barest features and goes for about $50,000 fully loaded.  Unfortunately, L&P released the thing at the worst possible time.  In the current economic situation, I doubt many people are going to fork out $20,000 for a bed.

Vibrating chair?  What's that thing sticking up on the back of it?  Is that the female model?

Oops, nevermind.  You're referring to the video not the picture.  Still, I'm not so sure that chair doesn't come with the same feature.  That girl sure looks like she's enjoying the "ride", if you know what I mean.

What is even funnier is you original comments still apply without you seeing the video the first time! LMAO!

The video you linked provides me with all the information I need to know.  The only thing I am wondering is what store sells it and if demonstrations are open to the public.

The Origami DVD Player is a portable DVD player concept that could be manufactured with a new e-paper (a full-color flexible display technology) being developed by Mag-Ink in Israel. As a product, it would target the business traveler who wants a convenient way to watch DVD movies. For this user, portability is a key requirement, but they are not interested in sacrificing their viewing experience and are willing to invest extra money for a higher quality product.

People already have enough problems folding up a paper map.

That is pretty damn cool! Too bad I don't watch DVD's or television for that matter. Now a computer that did that I would find useful.

Glow in the Dark Soap Chips

That happened to me just the other day. There are no windows in my bathroom, so I was showering in pitch blackness. I figured that since I was already wet and the hot water wasn't going anywhere, I'd just finish. It was a pretty interesting experience though.

As for the vibrating chair, that would be incredibly easy to build.

    Now with 57.3% more flames!

I have had that happen as well.  Guys have it easy.. try having it pitch black while trying to shave your entire body! It is NOT fun at all!   I didn't have a choice either, at the time I had to be ready for a swim meet regardless of power outage or not. LOL

Though now, with as much light up and solar powered stuff I have around it isn't a problem anymore.  It does help to have large windows in my bathroom as well now.
