Welcome back week in DDO EU: Never seen so many players online!

Just wanted to share it with you. DDO is totally crowded for some days. People are running and questing everywhere, from lowest to high-mid levels (couldn't check higher). Many poeple are completely new: I've run Waterworks two times, and several other quests with different newbies. Paladin is great supporter : ).

Also, there were nearly 25 (!) LFMs sometimes. That's impressive. There was some lag of course, but I noticed it only once, and it passed. The rest of "lag" was my computer struggling to find memory to calculate all these adventurers everywhere :P.

I know that's emotional, but hey, it's great now : ). Nothing less. We got a rain of Tasty Hams too, hehe, and Djinni of the Cake was (or is) camping in one tavern in Harbor. I didn't bring him a cake, so of course he forced me to dance (Otto's Irresistible Dance). Overall, great fun. I'm sure many of these people will stay for longer.

    Good to hear!

Was hoping to get online this week as I was interested to see, but RL has other ideas, nevermind I am sure it will still be heaving at the weekend.

Sorry for the stupid question, but are there different US and EU servers?  I thought that they had merged servers a year or so ago...

    Here: www.ddo-europe.com/welcomeback.php

    And more here: community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php

And of course there are US and EU different servers :). US is run by Turbine, and EU is maintained by Codemasters under license from Turbine Inc. There's also Japanese version, if I'm not mistaken.

DDO is the game I always wanted to play but for some reason Ive never subscribed to it. I bought it for a year ago and loved the game but quit afer the free month... But now thanks to the free week I have been trying it again!

I rolled a new char (only got to lvl 4 before) and I must say that the new character creation and newbie zone are great and Ive had alot of fun so far. Only been soloing so far  and am now lvl 2 so will probably start doing so grouping soon. I really love dungeon crawling and there is no other MMO with such great dungeons. Hopefullly I will stay this time cause I reallly want to see all what this game have to offer!

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd
