March 26th - 30th, Free play!

I just got an email from Turbine saying that through March 26 to the 30th, I have free credit to play with my old characters, and 25% bonus XP, and no thats not all, I have the chance to get "free" levels by gaining any XP at all. This is for all returning players that have canceled before and would like to try again.

Well, it's not technically 'free' levels. They've revamped the levelling curve. All the xp you earned is there, but now it's counted differently. Before, it may have only gotten you to, say, lvl 15.. but now, it counts as getting you to lvl 18. There has been much consternation and discussion, and I think the ultimate reason was to give more of an 'upward' moving feeling. My personal view on the matter is that it has made the early '40s slump' a whole lot easier to overcome.
I just logged off the game after resubbing today. I made two kills and leveled twice and my xp bar is nearly full again. Its ok but not what i thought they meant by bonus xp
The xp you got from the kills is the decrease in the xp needed to level, so those 2.5 levels you gained where just from the decreased xp and that was all the extra you had left around after the decrease. After the initial 1 - 3 levels gained after one kill the xp gain retruns back to the norm.

I got the email aswell, so I re-installed, so I could have a go, but everytime I try to log in it tell's me I'm expired and won't let me in.
The dates are the 26th - 31st of March. Remember these dates are American so if you live in any other country you have to be aware that america is either 1day ahead or behind.
I myself live in australia the date here is currently the 26th but I would have to wait for the 27th to be able to access the free time.

Its not for EU! We got a free week a couple of months ago (I think)
DDO are having a free welcome back week with +50% xp for EU now thou

still not up for me either.. just gotta keep checkign every few hours or so!
i went and bugged the for you guys....This is an issue, but it doesn't affect everyone.

What.. no Monsterplay? that suck's it was the only reason I played this game, so we can only play freep's?

i see, so if i leave here in Philippines we are ahead of almost a day to america. By the way what part of america are you talking about?If it is in LA, here in Philippines we are 15 hours ahead on the time of LA...Hey what am i talking about?i can start now. lol ^^
Uh... its ok, everyone COULD log in on the first day, it was just some accounts that had an issue, it seems to be solved now.

guys is it really 50%exp boost?
Havent played the game in about a year, just checked my account info and it says inactive, no mention of any free play available anywhere.
