It would be very interesting to hear what you mean by "the playerbase will improve" Darth, care to define what you mean by that?
Anyway I wonder what happened to Darkstar111, perhaps just playing the game? Just interested he seemed to vanish very suddenly.
To the OP, what was it about the Darkfall concept that you liked, if you tell us that it will be easier to suggest another game for you.
I haven't played the game, but it looked fun to me. If anything is keeping me away, it's the fact that alot of people from Shadowbane are migrating over. I'm not looking for Shadowbane 3D, I'm looking for something more. From what I understand it's essentially nothing more than what I just stated. If this game is essentially the same dynamic as shadowbane, then I have no desire to play it.
If you're reading this, you probably need to get some sun.
Woo - I just made $150 right before the announcement of the new sales. Not bad - I got to play and test a new game to see if it was really worth it and made $100 in the process.
Maybe I'll give it another look when the crap is fixed and the US server is released - but I doubt it. Just too many core features out dated and clunky. I loved certain aspects of it (mount combat/crafting basically everything/cool armor/high risk/reward/major clan involvement w/ cities/poltics/etc - just not the foundation. People also raved about the combat - It's fine that it's aiming - I have no problem with that - but just the overall combat system is just bad despite what some people might say. PvE (yes I know this is a pvp game - so spare me the lecture - doesn't excuse the crap they put in and labeled it pve) might be the worst in any mmorpg ever released).

Nah, apparently there are some more differences, but you would have to talk to someone that has played to find those out. All I know is, there are no classes, no auto targetting, and you can't trust the list of features listed on the DF website. You have to do some actual digging to find out what is contained in the game. (Dig through some past posts on this site, I think someone posted something about what is actually in the game.)

Am I still alowed to say byeee even though I left after beta. Guess not. I would say its more like shadowbane with whack 'o mole combat.
