new pc

I bought a new pc and want to know if it will last through some years for gaming.

Mobo: GA-EP45-UD3P

CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz

Vid: Nvidia 9800gt 1gig pny

PSU: Corsair 850TX

RAM: Corsair CM2X2048-6400C5

HDD: 1TB Western Digital 3Gbs

Also on another note my last pc started to fail after i got that vid card and i think it was because my psu at that time only had 22a on the 12v   (the vid card requires 28a)  could that have caused crashes, reboot cycles, and failure to post?

Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.

what about the crashes and such could that be caused by a underpowered vid card?

Your symptoms sound more like a memory issue.

I have replaced the mobo 3 times, the ram once, the cpu once, the vid once and still nothing have tried almost everything but didnt realise till just a few days ago the vid was underpowered

I had an Ultra power supply going out that caused the same exact problems.  It would occasionally crash, then fail to post for 5min to an hour or reboot over and over, etc.  It eventually started working again with no probs for another 6 months then did it again so I took advantage of the lifetime warranty on it.  They didn't make my model anymore though and offered me the equivalent but it didn't have enough SATA connectors on it so they upgraded me to their top of the line model for free, like 80 bucks more than the one I owned, awesome service :)

Good CPU but dead platform, for less you could've got an X3 phenom ii or X4 phenom ii for the same. Motherboard is good, but again a dead platform and an AM3 board would've cost around the same. Good graphics card but a bit of a rip off in my opinion as it's merely a rebranded 8800!

About the PSU, I believe so. Although I've never had PSU problems myself but from what I've heard lower ampage on cheaper PSUs may cause blackouts. Though I could be wrong.

Your system will be fine for 2 years in my opinion, by which time you'll need an overhaul of Mobo, Cpu and GPU and RAM. In my opinion it's best to go with AMD right now if you want to upgrade rather than purchase a new system every year.
