It went into closed beta testing in Korea this March. We should be expecting it here since Nexon now ports all its games to the US. However, if its Nexon it will most likely be overpriced and rampant with hackers/botters.
MMORPG.com actually has a tiny piece about this game in there GDC 09 thing you'll notice on the front page. It should be f2p though as mabinogi is f2p so i would figure the expansion would be as well. Not sure how long it will take to hit the US.
mabinogi heroes is a next gen mmo. it feels like a console game. you can use objects in enviorment. console style mmorpg. fast action.
mabinogi ads to the side of this site is not the same game as heroes. heroes is not an expansion of the current mabinogi, it is a whole seperate game but shares first name and same developer.
a true sequel to the current mabinogi called mabinogi 2 is being heard. mabinogi 2 have official teaser site you can google.

btw i dont think heroes is a full fledge open world mmo. seems like guild wars, instance-based.
I only know Mainogi based on the flash animations to the side. I like to support MMORPG.Com, but Ive no desire to click to see more of that game

i'm freshman major in chemical engneering in university

I think the concept of a Heroes of Might and Magic:Dark Messiah in a massively multiplayer environment would be fun as hell.
Dark Messiah was an awesome game.
Though, this looks so much different from the cute and cuddly Mabinogi well all know and love (or hate).
Not that I'm complaining, of course. I'm all for it.
