Warlock, because out of all the classes I played it required the most strategy and decision making, as well as some seriously cool perks including minions and a class-specific mount.
I should point out that I haven't played all the classes though, so I could end up going nuts over one or more others.
i didnt played much class too but i must say Paladin is a fun class...you can solo things pretty easily...you have a lot of defense...nice attack power with Seal of the Crusader!...
I tried many of the classes throughout Closed Beta on, and after all the talents had been put into the game, I found that I was really, really satisfied with the Hunter. That was an amazingly fun class to play. Being a Horde player more than an Alliance fan, I also liked Shaman very much. It's really difficult to say what class I prefer though, because I'll probably end up making one of each after it hits the shelves. I think any class in the game is incredible if played well. But for personal choice, I'll probably start with an Orc Hunter. Their racial traits are very well suited to the Hunter, with Pet Command being a big plus, and fighting with axes, which already have an innate critical strike bonus adds another bonus to close-up combat when necessary. Night Elves will have an advantage with Shadowmeld in PvP, which gives them a huge bonus for the Alliance side, and innate Quickness, which will help add more Dodge to their Aspect of the Monkey.
Hunter was a class worth waiting for, but it's lacking a decent choice of weapons. I hope this gets addressed quickly. Unless you choose to use Guns, which can be crafted by Engineers, you're going to be undergeared compared to some other classes.
This class is also exceptional for soloing, which is nice when you need to farm for cash, but I joined an instanced dungeon party to see how I would do in such a situation, and I did great, you just have to be extra cautious about which settings your pet has turned on, because it can quickly turn into an aggro nightmare if you're not. Otherwise, I was of great service to my party, so party functionality for the Hunter is also very good.
I enjoyed playing my shaman a lot. It's just a lot of fun planting totems on the ground :P, and the insta-shocks are really cool too and the lightning shields and the healing and the.... uhm well you get the point I guess. The shaman just is a cool class imo

Just quoting you because I forgot to mention in my post about how the hunter is a great solo class to play. And yes, good point on watching what settings pet are on in a dungeon, I tried to always keep him passive while roaming the dungeons to keep him from charging into a crowd of mobs.
Hunters are beneficial to group with good dps plus they add an extra meat shield (pet) for tight situations.
Also /agree on the weapon choice, but we are not meant to fight with them anyway
my favourite remains the druid, for it's versatility: healing & range damage with spells and various shapeshifting abilities: being able to mimic the warrior & rogue to some extent, the travel forms on land and in water.
My 2nd choice was a hunter, which my friend decided to play in OB. I've always liked ranged characters such as spell casters & rangers, therefore the hunter was a natural 2nd choice for me. The ability to tame and keep pets was a wicked added bonus.
The other classes i'd find fun would be the rogue & the warlock. Can't wait to try them out.

My hunter and rogue were the most fun, rogue for the sheer attention you pay during the gameplay. And hunter for the crazy variety in gameplay, with the hunter you can be an effective ranged or melee fighter, or both as I would recommend, plus with tons of different skills in so many different categories, during battle you end up needing to use multiple skill bars. Some classes spam a few spells and skills but with my hunter in an average battle I use around 8 and in a pvp fight usually more than 14 different skills and abilities. Plus you can run fast at level 20, gotta love that.
Well seeing that i will consider making a NE Hunter for sure....i was hesitating between Paladin and Hunter....so thx to you guys...i will have to char to play now...haha...
I found the most fun as my Night Elf Druid. They are very versitile and the shapeshifting was a blast. Nothing like prowling around as a cat, then raking the back of your victim from behind. I got him to level 30 starting with the second stress test and ending with open beta. This character consumed most of my time so I never got to try any other class past the newbie levels.
I also played a hunter and warlock to about level 10 or so, and these are the other two characters I will be playing at retail.
I also tried the rogue which I didn't see many people playing, but I had fun with.
I did almost only play as Shaman and Warrior. And I have to say that I liked warrior most. I have always been a melee-fighter in spirit. And I found this really fun. On all other games I have played, the warrior class has always been so easy to play with. But here you need skills if you want to survive. Well, maybe not that much, but its better then other games I have played. I really enjoyed this.
So true Wolfhaart I am glad blizzard didn't do to warriors what everquest did and just make them only have 2 buttons to push (attack, taunt). I did fool around with a warrior a little and although i liked a hunter better due to my playstyle the warrior is a fun and challenging class to play in WOW.

Flych - 70 Blood Elf Retribution Paladin - Tarren Mill (EU)
Mediocre - 70 Undead Discipline Priest - Tarren Mill (EU)
I found the hunter to be the most fun for me.
I also liked the mage as well as the warlock as my #2 and #3 but hunter will be the #1 class that i play the most.

The Rogue was very fun. Being "sneaky like ninja" was a challenge because had to time everything just right.
The Mage was fun because half the time you could drop a mob before it even gets to you.
Priest is an always welcome addition to groups and if you like to group than thats the class I recomend.
Warlocks are very soloable as long as your able to handle agro rate and knowing what curse/DOTs to use.
all in all my "testing" was very fun and EVERY class you need to look at.
