Well, is this game really F2P? Ive been reading threads how you have to pay for rebirths, storylines, and some other stuff. I know how nearly all f2p games now have an item mall, but thats fine, but are their things that are necceseraly(sp?) needed?
1) If i was to get into this game now? What would i HAVE to buy?
2) I heard rebirths are free? Only 1 or as many as you want? (How many rebirths do you need to become good?)
3) How good of a sandbox game is this? Like can i go farmin if i want, then go get another skill up, then go fight for abit?
And 4th) How is the social aspect? Is partying good?
Thanks, any help will be much appreciated and if this game seems good, ill hope to play with you in the future

Just started playing this myself so I have only a tiny bit of experience:
1) If i was to get into this game now? What would i HAVE to buy?
I'd say you may have to buy one premium card to get all the aesthetic choices to make your character, choice of hair, eyes ect... Can be very limited on the free basic card.
2) I heard rebirths are free? Only 1 or as many as you want? (How many rebirths do you need to become good?)
Rebirths are free after level 20 or 24, starting at a low level again gains you more AP points which you want to gain to skill up and have a better character.
3) How good of a sandbox game is this? Like can i go farmin if i want, then go get another skill up, then go fight for abit?
It's a great sandbox, you can do whatever you want it reminds me of Maplestory meets Ryzom. There's scripted quests, dungeons, an evolving storyline, mounts and pets (which might make you want to spend more money IRL), crafting and you pick whatever look you want in terms of gear.
And 4th) How is the social aspect? Is partying good?
I don't party much but from what I can see people are very friendly and it's not that hard to find someone to party with on the very populated servers.
To answer your question is this game really F2P? I'd say no, you will be compelled to spend money and if you are a power gamer expect to spend a lot. Character cards, mounts and pets are not cheap.

You get a rebirth free after the Age of 20, So if you started at the age of 10 that's 10 weeks, if you start at the age of 17 that's 3 weeks. There are some people that are rebirthing once a week and grinding to insanely high levels.
I would also consider a pet or two somewhat of a requirement. While they're not technically required they are very nice. They can often times be better party members than Pick Up Groups, and the AI in them is programmable. They also expand what I would call a pretty limited inventory space since pets have their own inventory. Pets also have some healing skills in particular first aid is handy because you can sit your character to get the +treatment bonus(though not required at all since players can train the skill past F, and have the same treatment bonuses if they treat each other).
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
To be clear, you don't need to pay for storyline quests anymore.
What to buy, in order of "almost mandatory" to "extravagant perks:"
1. A horse, 10$ one time fee. This will drastically cut travel times. I HATE traveling, so I consider this close to mandatory.
2. Another pet, 5$ one time fee. Pets are very useful, and the horse has a limited timer so you may not want to rely on it. You could make the other pet another mount (10$ one time fee)
3. Nao service, 10$/month. Optional. Cuts down death penalty significantly. If you play correctly, consevatively, and with groups, you'll never die, so you won't need it. Also, while the death penalty is fairly severe, it's not THAT bad. (Basically lose a resource that can be replenished by doing a short, although somewhat grindy, quest)
4. Rebirthing. You can rebirth for free every 3 weeks. Rebirthing speeds up character progression. If you play ALOT (like 40+ hours a week) then your character growth through experience points will slow down by the end of a week. If you want your extremely high amount of playing to convert into huge character power growth, then you'll be tempted to pay up to 8$ a week to rebirth more often than the three weeks. Note you get 3 characters for free now (a human,a elf, and a giant), so you could play 40 hours a week and advance all three at a good rate if you played them all equally.
5. Fantasy life service (includes nao service, 15$ month). Gives you special potion-like items and makes it easier to sell things to other players. I consider this wasteful, but if you have money to burn...
6. Buying items form the game with real money. You can buy even more potion-like items directly for fees. This I consider extremely wasteful, but if you don't care about money there is the option.
So in summary, I consider 15$ one time fee quasi-mandatory, a 10$ monthly fee for nao service very convenient but not required, and anything more than that to be optional at best, extravagant at worst.
Actually rebirths are free after your character reach the age of 20, not level 20. So, I suggest picking your starting age at 17 and then you can rebirth like every 3 weeks for free.
