Think a Warcraft/WoW Movie is a good idea?

Anyone think that a full 3d Warcraft movie would be a good idea?

If you saw the movies in Warcraft 3-RoC/FT, they were pretty nice looking.
Along with that the WoW movie,
See it,
Download it

What is your opinion on such an idea?

As the first response, I think it would suck the Orc's very private parts (edit for the FCC).

Hmm... well if blizzards game cinematics arent good, then there is no good cinematic in the whole game industry.
To the topic.. YES, I would really like to see Blizzard making a movie.. I dont care which universe they will choose (SC,WC,Diablo..), I just wanna see it :) If you read their FAQ, there is a few words bout this... i am too lazy to find it again and link it.. ::::03:: It said something like Blizzard will consider making a movie if the right time comes or something like this. but there is a big BUT. BLizzard is a game company! If they will choose to make a movie, the game production will suffer for sure. Even If they hire new people for the movie, there must be still someone from old teams to lead them and so.. that would mean less experienced people in game division...Thats why i dont believe they will make one in the near future..

Think if it this way, they team up with another company, not taking strength from the gaming division, not having any effect on the gaming division, do you think the movie

Would you want to see it?
Do You think it will happen?

Video game movies always suck.  It's an immutable law of nature.

Yes, they suck because they are too short, if you played a blizzard game, instead of doing the work, watch it be done in 3D movie format,

This is a collection of a few movies put together but this is different

What about the final fantasy movie?
    Would you see that?

Don't get me wrong... I love Blizzards cinematics.  They're always a treat when they show up.   I kept D2 on my hard drive about 6 months after I stopped playing it just so I could go back and watch the cut scenes.

But video game movies, real movies, always suck.  Even Final Fantasy.  Jesus weeps every time another video game movie goes into production.

BLizzards cinematic division is Fing amazing. Their cutscenes have always been top notch. Assuming they had a good story and some good direction I believe they could make an amazing film. I think they aught to do a short(half hour max) movie to see if it's possible for them to make a feature length film. I think they have the talent. All they need is some interest and financial backing.
