Help please..

Hello :).

I would like to play the AoC trial and went to download from Fileplanet but the download wasnt the "tortage" it was the 100% full game and even with broadband internet it said it would take 6 days and 12 hours for the full download.........

Can anyone please offer me a link or something that will help me find the "small" download so i can see if i like the game, if my pc can handle it, etc etc and if i like it i will run into city and buy the game. I just dont want tie up my computer for a week to just download a trial. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Anybody heard of the "small download" option of the trial that only gives you tortage and updates the rest of the game later? Anyone help me out on where to find this download?

never heard of it. if you got to www.canyourunit.com and pick age of conan, it will give you a good idea if you can play the game or not.

the trial does not have its own client, it is the full version of the game.

    Really?

This quote fron Funcoms web site suggests otherwise:

"The client you are about to download contains everything you require to start playing the game. Through the patcher you may elect to download the rest of the game at your own convenience. This is not needed before you reach level 20."

    Get the download here:

You can dl either one.  The full game or Tortage only.  Tortage takes about 45min-1hr (well at least for me it did).  I would imagine the full client would take an ungodly amount of time.

When I went to register, I did not have any choice on which client I want to download, they gave me a link to fileplanet and I had to download the 13gig client (which took about 9hrs, so over night) and I had to do all the patches (another 600-700 meg). I have a cable connection with 820k/sec.

Get a life you freaking Gamer.....no no, you don't understand, I'm a Gamer, I have many lives!!

    I apologize.

I was told that Funcom wanted the trial to be the full game because they didn't want to limit the trial to Tortage seeing how much the game changes when you leave the isle.
