It looks good, but I still think there's too much effects on everything. It takes away from the gameplay when your screen is filled with BS spell and attack effects. It's not necessary to show the fake white air everytime someone slashes their sword. Seems like they did this to distract people from the shortcomings of combat in general.
i agree that some of the effects could be dosed down to bring out the unique artwork even more, still i cant wait for this next patch to hit life.
thinking about the effects i think that it is probably a descision of economics for a smaller company like tcos because its easier to overlay the same casting/buffing animation with different effects for different spells then to bring in and synchronise individual animations for each skill.
