Damn walmart to all hELL!

I just called walmart and they have wOw in but cant sell them yet...they said tomarrow they will probably be able to sell them or tomarrow at 12 i can go pick up a copy.....pisses me off good thow im going through withdrawls.

    Its released on the 24th here in australia :) 1 day after the U.S in a sense but actually about the same time cause us guys are about 17 hours ahead of most U.S states.

    well unless i'm mistaken you'll still be going through withdrawls i'm afraid. just because you'd get the game 2 days sooner than most it doesnt mean your going to be able to create an account and log in sooner. we'll all be enjoying the monstrous lag on the 23rd together ::::02::

    ya i wonder when the servers will be up....i really just hope i can  get it late night on the 22nd so i can set my acount and stuff up early morning like 1am on the 23rd

    Yea my local gamestop store I preordered it also said they have it but can not sell until midnite on the 23rd at the earliest. But they won't be open until 10 am :(.

    Actually lucky for ME i live on the east coast and the wal-mart here IS selling it at 12am monday night/ tuesday morning, which puts it in my hands 3 hours before you guys on the west coast. Which gives me time to get at least 10 levels ahead of you guys, assuming they have the servers up and ready to go at the time. And on top of that, this type of game doesn't sell to well I'm my area. That ensures my copy of the Collectors Edition.

    you are probably right, but maybe they will at least have the account creation server up and i can maybe get that part done.

    No, Blizzard isn't bringing the servers up early. when i say 3 hours before you guys and he says 8 hours before you guys its because we are getting the game at 12am on the 23rd in our own time zones, the day the game comes out.

    Don't complain that wal-mart won't sell it tomorrow, if they did they would have a lawsuit on their hands. Its illegal for them to release early. I just can't wait for tomorrow night when Blizzard has the whole release thing 45 minutes from me at frys. Hopefully the servers will be up after I get home at 1 am.

    Hehe it's funny all these people are excited to get the game early, thinking they'll play it before the rest of us. Hate to ruin your fun, but you'll be playing the same minute that we do.

    They dont bring up servers for a handful of people who got the game early. They'll bring up the servers later on on the 23rd, so that the greatest amount of people we'll be able to start playing at the same time.

    If you thin otherwise, you're just too gullible.

    ok ,first of all you won't get on any sooner then the guy that buys the game and installs it first, they will open the servers at the same time to register so no matter how much you might want to avoide the noob lag you'll hit it no matter what. the first 2 days of retail the game will bareally be playable.

    since there forums and servers are linked, they will cause massive lag since once people won't be able to login(mass lag) they will all hit the forums at the same time which won't improve the problem any it will just make it worse and i'd say the servers will probably crash at some point in the first 2 days.

    i work at best buy, weve had our copies of wow since last thursday along with the strat guide. the collectors edition looks really freaking cool.

    Well it takes half a brain to see that even if you pick the game up before the 23rd, the servers won't be up untill then and you won't be able to even create an account untill then.  So sorry.

    Also if the publisher finds out stores are selling them earlier then they are supposed to they store can be fined heavily for it.  Most stores have had copies of the game since last week, around the 16th when that was the first release date.  But they haven't sold them because they don't want to be fined.
