Name your keyboard + mouse combo.

I was looking at the G 15 and a logitech gaming mouse but after reading alot of reviews I'm going for this combo,

Merc stealth and Razor Death Adder

I went with the merc due to it having absoloute anti ghosting and a totaly programmable keyboard with an unlimited amount of keystrokes allowed for each macro. A seperate pad for WASD gaming aimed mostly at FPS, 3 different backlight colours and intensities. Also it was the only one besides the G 19 that had two usb 2.0 ports, I actually gain an extra USB port with this beast!

The Death Adder due to having onboard memory allowing macros to be bound to the switches. Only 5 switches but I didn't want more, the two switches on the side I'll use for macros but they do have a maximum of eight keystrokes per macro. However I could always bind a mouse key to a macro key on the keyboard if I wanted more.

So what do you use or would you like to use and why?

Once again I must first of all point out how funny your threads are for hardware geek like myself.

Keyboard: I picked "Logitech Illuminated" becuse its keys reminds me of an laptops and becuse its look.

Mouse: I mostly play games when Im at my desktop a good mouse is a must when you spend alot of time endless clicking on things on the screen. It is aswell important for me that I dont mix brands and that it looks good , so I picked Logitechs G9. A wonderfull mouse that does suit my geeky needs and has alot of configs to mess around with.

The keyboard choice seems a little odd as you could probably get a G 11 or 15 for the same price. Why not go for the one of them and have a real gaming keyboard?

Remember a real mans keyboard has macros, FACT!

I use either the G15 or Razer Tarantula for my keyboard (depending on the mood I'm in) but I always use the Razer Lachesis mouse

Prodige Ultraflat keyboard. It doesn't have much special things, but it feels like a laptop keyboard and I like that feeling on its buttons. Plus it was cheap.

Logitech MX1000 mouse, I've used it since the model was released and haven't yet found any reason to switch even if some new one might be a bit better.

Logitech G-15 Keyboard , I really like the buttons, I am not a fan of laptop like keyboards. And about mouse - Razer Lachesis, it took me a while to get used to it, but now I love it.

     Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2

    Logitech MX Revolution

Not that impressed with the mouse, but it was a present. The Happy Hacking keyboards are great though. Hold up to a lot of abuse and cost less than half the price of a comparable mechanical keyboard.

One thing people dont consider is how your hand relaxes on the mouse.  Most folks just read high-dpi and button functions and make their choice from there.

I can tell you this though, I used a razer for a few years and decided to buy a different brand last year.  I bought a logitech G5.  I regret it all the time too.  The logitech G series mice are what I call a "claw" type.  Meaning that you'll find yourself with your palm arched around your first knuckle as you use the mouse especially during a lot of action.  Sure just putting your hand on the mouse, surfing the net the mouse feels great with its high arch.  But pay attention when your gaming and see exactly what your hand does, it will arch and your fingers will work harder.

Razer mice are more concave and longer, your hand sits more relaxed.. nearly flat.  The buttons are easier to operate and the action is a lot better.  The main reason I opted for the logitech though was that the feet on the razer werent large enough.  I felt the mouse scraping on my hard surface mouse pad.  The newer razers have larger feet, so im looking into replacing the G5 with the razer.

so if you like to keep your hand more flat, relaxed Id go with the razer.  If your a claw type mouse user, the logitechs are fantastic.

My advice is to buy a Razer Deathadder ASAP! For all the reasons you stated and that it's easily the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.
