Anyone interested is going to be trolling the official DF forums anyway, looking for those magical windows of opportunity in which a person can purchase this elusive title.
Not really gen discussion material, if anything this should be the DF section on mmorpg.com. Posting in the correct forum is always a good thing.
It is exactly because it is elusive that I have posted this and not everyone is savvy or has time enough to avidly follow DF forums. Stop whinging about a helpful post, call it my community service action of the day.
A LOT of people here dont like DF even tho they never played it. Myself I enjoyed it and found lack of autoattack refreshing
The shop seems to be closed again. They sell out every slot as soon as they offer them. Demand is amazing.

She didn't get "bashed", nice attempt at stirring up some drama though, try harder next time.
I simply pointed out that the info is only pertinent to a limited group of individuals (i.e. a niche), of whom most (if not all) will already be waiting and watching the official forums for DF with baited breath, as they await the chance to purchase a copy of the game. All the while wearing out the paint on there F5 keys.
I then pointed out that Gen Disc was a horrible place to post this thread.
MMORPG.com Staff have moved the thread to the DF forums, so I can only assume they agreed with my assessment about Gen Disc being the wrong place for this particular information.
I'm sorry, but I don't consider re-posting of official information to be helpful, anyone can copy and paste. That info is readily available at the official source, where ANY real fan of the game is already certain to see it.

It's simply amazing what people will put themselves through to play a video game. There are literally thousands of games p2p and f2p on the market, some good, some not so good.
This game is definately NOT worth all this trouble. I just don't understand how people think these days.

its because every other game is EQ clone trash with exception to UO, AC1, and EVE. DFO is in a small crowd. Even smaller when you consider in this game you actually get to control yer char rather then let yer fate be decided by a dice roll / autoattack

Haha yes, the only reason I play DF is the pvp with full loot. Most part of DF is so bad I wonder if the devs have seen some of the mmos made the last 4 years. It was easy to get an account today, so I think the hype is over. I got my second account, and a friend got his account in less than 5 min.
I don`t think DF will get another server anytime soon (if ever), because alot of players leave after the first month. My brother played it for 10 min and he hasn`t touch it again. The grinding is so bad I`m not sure I`ll last long in DF and right now I`m really bored of the game. The leveling is the slowest I`ve seen in any mmo so far.
