Shockingly accurate.
Besides, this site is a cesspool on it's own, why on earth would anyone want to subject themselves to being berated and belittled on Facebook?
Very strange way of thinking, I fail to see the upside to joining an mmorpg.com Facebook group.
Enlighten me as to what possible benefits this would provide, if any.
Harsh guys
If you visit the site everyday, sure, the Facebook group probably isn't going to give you a lot of new information. If you do not visit the site daily, it's a good way to get "the highlights" in a service you're already, likely, using each day.
Largely, if something big happens or we have a nice, general interest feature, we'll post it up over there as well.

Hahah, just looked at the fans list and apparently Smed is. I wonder if he ever reads the forums here or if he's used to the flames.
Anyways, totally awesome. Facebook = godlikegoodness<3, so it's great to see you guys branching out a bit.
Safe to say Facebook jumped the shark quite some time ago.
if it broadens exposure to mmo games fine, but Facebook has degenerated into just another Advertising / Marketing vehicle for big Corporations to $ell you crap.
Same thing is happening to Twitter.
Meh. Rock & Roll is dead.

What the hell has happened to gamers when the one web site that seemed to be a ray of light in a ever darkening world. Has to have a Face Book page? I would rather stick a cattle prod in both my eyes then join Face Book! I believe I miss judged this site and the people that run MMORPG. Maybe they are sell outs just like the people on Face Book.
I'm Just saying!
They must find it difficult . . .
Those who have taken authority as the truth,
Rather then truth as the authority.

It's REALLY not that big a deal. This whole thread has been a lot of whining for nothing. Joining Facebook is really not a requirement to getting the mmo news. This site is just trying to expand people's options. Remember what people say about mmos, "more options are good". That doesn't just apply to mmos, you know. It actually works for regular life things too.

To be entirely clear, we will not be posting things exclusively to Facebook. You do not need Facebook to use MMORPG.com. As the above said.

Some of you posters have really lost it. Facebook is just another outlet for information for MMORPG. If you don't like facebook you most certainly don't have to use it.
Personally I like the idea.
