Ohh crap! Wrong forum. Or ..why would i wanna post a random video of hackers in a MMO?? Maybe i should show people having fun ingame instead, no i post a hacking video instead. I will make sense.

That and they admit there are hackers in their game and don't call their players paranoid and claim that all the reports are false, yet in the same release say that they are bearing down on exploiters...
Why the double message?
They just need to admit that there are hackers so that way people can watch out for them and report them rather than keep telling us "no no your mistaken" repeatedly.
Private server so soon? Very unlikely. In order to have aprivate server, you would need to collect enormous information (packets), then try to figure out what they are and what they mean and then duplicate it on your server. This is practically impossible so soon after release, unless there was server source code leak, which is also highly unlikely.
The simplest and most believable explanation is cheating. It doesnt take that much effort to speed-hack as it takes to create private server.

It's not being said that there is no hacking going on in Darkfall, just that they get caught. What isn't being said is Tasos shows up at their house and takes them to the back and kicks the shit out of them.
Its not a question of whether they hacked it or not, its a question of how fast they did it. Besides, you can't compare dying from speedhacking in WoW (ive never seen any1 hack in WoW and i played since beta) and DF. In DF, you lose everything you wear, so the damage is much MUCH greater then in WoW.

Just to point out.. that little hack for WOW did nothing except change the appearance YOU SEE for your weapon. You don't get the stats of the 'new' weapon and other people don't even see the weapon the same way you do. It's very similar to the little hack that people were buying that changed your stats in WOW. The only problem with the hack is that the stats didn't actually change your gameplay..all they did was changed the display for YOU.
Darkfall is loaded with people using hacks. I bet more than 50% of the players have already downloaded the hack that allows you to insta-loot. The speed hacks and stamina hacks are all over the place too. I haven't seen the hack from that video before, but I know a lot of people are playing with stamina hacks (like was described in the video).

The darkfall hack video just proves what you try to negate every time it comes to people yelling that there are hackers in Darkfall. But its ok, close your eyes and continue to have fun.
Why don't you stop trying to convince everyone that there isn't a problem with hackers in Darkfall while it is that much obvious? I would only understand if you would have an advantage making the people believe that it isn't so, but I could not imagine what that advantage could be if you love the game so much. Cheating does a big damage to every player driven economy.

This is what happens when you put variables on the client side.
WoW puts the variables on the server where they can't be reached. Even then, there were speed hacks in WoW for a time.
The game is a hackers wet dream.
I cant see AV ever being able to control this.
This is exactly my point.
To make myself very clear. My mates and me roam Darkfall for several weeks now, using all of the common hacks. We come from underground and nick mounts or stalk folks, we treasure chest teleport or speedhack. Hell, it is so much fun, and not one of us got banned.
InvisiMod, the latest hack is truely the best stomach muscle workout there is. You just rofl till it hurts.
I like Darkfall, it is a lot of fun and even more so with the hacks. Why? Because we can. Let AV talk as much as they want about the logs and finding hackers. It is not happening.
If you have an issue with us doing it, then learn to live with it. We are there and we will be there for a long time.
Nuff said.
P.S.: Anyone needs a mount? I am drowning in them.
