    I'm still getting one... eventually....

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

The helmet helps make you not retarded when you get into one of these accidents.

The video says that he slides 50 feet...you can clearly see that he does not slide for more than maybe 20...which is still quite an accident, but that exageration makes me wonder how fast he was really going.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

My friend took at a deer at 45 to 55 mph and got up from a totaled bike with nothing but some road rash.

Another guy I know took at pothole and was paralyzed from the waist down. He still rides special purpose-built bikes and keeps his wheelchair in the sidecar.

Bikes arn't dangerous it's the people who're riding them that are most of the time it's down to the error of the rider. I ride bikes and have never owned a car and I've crashed 3 times but all of them times was within my first year as a teen on a 125 and thinking I know better than experienced riders. Now I look at the less experienced riders or even riders just doing stupid things on the road and you know they will be the ones having the crash cause you wont learn until you do have one sadly.

My mate goes in and out of traffic during rush hour when people arn't really alert and tired and don't look and then wonders why he got knocked off the other month......... it's like you may blame the car but have some common sense about ya, it's as much your fault as it is the cars.

That video however it just looks like he's speeding and not looking  and then panics and steers into the car instead of away from it. It's easy to say what you shoulda done after the fact but that's all the riders fault in my eyes and he'll learn from this and never do it again.
