I gave the game a chance. Its a huge land with no content. The first 2 quests are kill the goblins. When you actually find the goblins.........theres like 5-15 people camping the spot. The world is void of life! I ran ........just cause I was sick of trying to compete with like 15 people to kill one goblin. I ran and in like 15 minutes real time.........I found a spider. The game is not what was avertised. Its probablly one of the worst sandbox games I have seen. I will wait now for MO. Darkfall is let down. I am not trying to down the game..............it does it itself. Its full of cheaters who use loot cheats. and loot is the only way to gain money in early stages. If you never played the game and are thinking about it........save your money......or give it a try .......you will come to the same conclusion...............Wait for MO or wait for Linkrealms.......This is only my opinion......and we all know what opinions are like hehe.......but its TRUE!

I feel you pain, but people have to try thing for themselves. Darkfall is hard, but it's worth it in my opinion. play for more then a day
we warned you for like 2 months Maybe those troll weren't trolls after all....
I now have been playing for more than 5 days. Its a world with no content. I ran for 15 minutes to find a spider.....wooohooo. I would love the game more if I could skill up a little without having 15-20 people camping the spawn area. I just dont think the server can handle more creatures without lag or downtimes.

You ran for 15 mins and only saw a spider? Ummmm.... I smell bull shit. The world is teeming with mobs, right now I have just run for 10 mins and had to run away from a group of lizard men, some snake like creatures, undead spiders, a hunting player Alfar and then a feeking firebreathing Dragon!
As the post above says - trying playing for more than a day. If you make your mind up about an MMO so quickly then you might be better playing single player games or games that lead you like a child i.e WOW.
Darkfall is best experienced in a clan.

Darkfall is rough. Everything you do is a quest..literally. It's one of those games were 9-10 days you play its frustrating and a pain. But, that one day out of the 10 is more fun than you've had in a game in years. First game thats got my heart pumping in a long long time. And thats whats its all about. Not sure if we're gonna stick with it or not yet, but so far, to me at least..this game is one of the worst and one of the best out there...just depends on how everything comes together. I'm assuming once you learn the game more you start to learn how to avoid the worse parts easier...we shall see.

LOL at you ! Try going out in the wild. There is no one camping mobs, only at the starter cities are there a lot of people after the same mob. If you move out you will find more goblin camps and only a few other players.
Seriously unless you have given a game a good go then please don't post your views otherwise they are just utterly irrelvant.
No I do not work for Adventurine I am just so glad that a game like Darkfall has come out finally.

LMAO God I hate when people say go play WoW.............I hate that game! I am just an orignal UO player. I never had to run far to kill things.....or to have people kill me heh.........this game is not sandbox.......and yes you do have to run for miles before you even find something to kill.

Well i am currently in the army and would love to give this game a try so if you dont want to play i would like to try it if i like ill even pay you?
Trust me.........dont bother......but if you are like me.......I wanted to give it a go......and its an utter disapointment

I really like idea of fighting for mob spawns rather than 10 mobs per square meter like in other games.

I have seen quite a few posts stating mobs are scarce in this game. Maybe they all got together and decided to fabricate this lie for you.
LMAO ok well a map is nice .......but I still see no spawns and I have run around........the only spawn points have 10 to 15 people camping them.

I played for quite a while: run=100, swim=100, crouchwalk=100, riding=85, bow=74, mining=76, logging=75, herbs=65 etc...
So armor requires major time mining, crafting, making a good bow = same. I get all geared up. I'm loaded to the hilt with arrows, killer armor, potions, my guild is running to help our sister city from being taken over. It's gonna be a nice fight. 300 of them - 100 of us. I can't bind to the stone because like only 25 people can bind there. My "real" bindstone (as all my clanmates) is a 2 hour run/swim in real time, away. THE BATTLE BEGINS and I am soooooo jazzed, wait, what's this, Out of virtual address memory - CLIENT CRASH!!! I'm running a quad-processor 8GB of RAM - Windows Experience Index = 5.9.
I try to log back in - "You are already logged in". I try to log in again, oh look I'm DEAD, I've been looted of everything I own and FANTASTIC - A BONUS I'm back at my bindstone 2 rl hours away. I say to myself - Awww, just bad luck. Until the next major battle then ditto. Not just me, everyone in my clan - same experience. Woot - way to go Darkfail !!!
oh btw, with my quickness pushing 50 NO ONE should be able to catch me, wait what is this? a third party hack program guy running away from me at light speed, lovely. Looting scripts, speed hacks, transporting exploits, yeah, its got everything I love to see - NOT!!!
We killed a farmer, looted his near 1000 wood and stone. My clan member could barely move, asking us to come help him transport the goods... oh wait, another guy gets there first, kills him, loots the same burdensome loot and commences to outrun all of us, then outswim all of us, disappearing off the screen while being 900% over-burdened. Yeah, right...
You can have your Darkfail, I'll wait for a better experience, and save my money, thanks. Oh yeah, and thanks Darkfail for the 4 minutes per day you open up the store for people to actually jockey for the pleasure of having to pay for this crap.
Flame away - but you know what I'm talking about if you played the game for any reasonable amount of time. BTW no guild = dead. Better hope your city doesn't get destroyed like ours, because we are US based and in 4 hours our tier 3 city was demolished while we were in bed. Gotta love that - very expensive lesson on overpowered seige hammers.

Exactly, I was just posting it to spite the OP, because it's a more than likely chance he has not really played the game, and made this to just bash it.
