Does anybody know what the system requrements for WoW are going to be. Any beta testers out there that may know a thing or two about a thing or two. Thanks

if you have a pc like the one mentioned above.....just forget about playing WoW.
I run a 1ghz with a geforce2 and 256mb ram. The game plays fine. Even in the mass raids at the end open beta I didn't notice any real slow down. Your not goingt to be running 1600x1200 on a system like this but 800x600 was just fine.

wrong, wrong , wrong and did I mention wrong ?
I have played the final beta on 3 machines.
Machine 1
Celeron 1.2GHZ 512MB PC133 ram and a Geforce 2 64mb video card.
Game ran surprisely well at low to medium settings. When I was playing on the new population capped servers I experienced only a little lag with many people on my screen on a heavy pop server. No lag at all with a light pop server. Tried it with both 56K connect and DSL connections. The DSL was much better than the dial up but dial up was still very playable.
Machine 2
Pentium 4 1.6 GHZ Geforce 5200fx 128MB video card and 768 DDR PC2100 ram
Game ran exceptionally smooth and lag free at medium settings, ran ok but was a bit choppy at 3/4 max settings. I experienced very little lag in crowded areas and No lag at all on light servers. DSL connection was still better than the dialup but once again dialup was playable.
Machine 3
Pentium 4 3.0GHZ HT 1.2 GB ram 128MB ATI 9800 video card.
Game exceptionally at 3/4 max settings and ran ok at max settings. I did notice that the colors were more vibrant with my 1.6GHZ Nvidia equipped machine than they were with the ATI card on this machine. But overall the game ran exceptionally well. Very little lag if not any in crowded areas heavy pop server ( video lag factors I assume ) and no lag on light server. Performance was as expected DSL ran better than the Dial up but the dial up was playable.
Blizzard did a good job taking the graphics they had and making them stand out and they were very well done. Not as good as EQ2's but more polished IMO.
Thats how it was during the last beta with me. We shall see how the game performs post release.
