Having fun with demo but worried about population

I just started the AOC demo a couple days ago and am about to leave Tortage. I'll say so far that I'm having a lot of fun - the game is very different from being another WOW clone. However, I'm worried about starting a game with so few players. Im on the Gwalhur server so that I can play with some old friends, but the server seems dead. Wondering if things are better on other servers. I'm also wondering if I should go over to the Ironspine server as everyone should be conceivably lower level, right?

Im playing the Demo on Set and left the island. Seems to be pretty active from what i see demo wise. Im in the same boat you are.....hate to invest in the game only to be let down by low pop...the servers seem to always show medium pop lol....never saw it change yet........
Wiccana PVE and Cimmeria PVP are well populated...
Thats because Gwahlur is one of the new servers, so there wont be as many people as on the well established servers. For pve it would be Set or Wiccana, and for pvp it's cimmeria and tyranny, there are plenty of people on these 4 servers. Personally i would suggest rerolling asap.
new vs old servers both have their merits and flaws.
for new starters old servers with their high population, stable market can seem like a better choice but if you are in a pvp server you'll face harder opponents both skill vice and (item-pvp level-battle keep) vice. starting a new guild will be harder because other newcomers will probably choose guilds who already have a t3 city as opposed to yours.
I need more vespene gas.

Gwalur is a quiet server. Set is MUCH more populated (pve server) Cimmeria (pvp) is also very well populated.
