Pretty good update to this AoC Database.
From the official forums:
"Just want to give the community an update. We've just finished a big content update for our items database. We now have over 41k items. We've remade all of our item icons and have added new high-resolution images for all items.

Yea the polearms are good to look at too, just like in game where you can see individual hairs on the handle parts! love the detail, adds so much more.
The website will be updating with quests, zones, NPC's and spells soon. Should be great.
They are merging with ask kalantes which was a good site too.
well, now that you mentioned items.
here is a pic a few days ago of a rp event in cimmeria, it was a mix match of armor/clothes though but came up with a few interesting variations. still with the side a brown unfortunately:

pretty low rez, because the actual size is on stupid resolution so i toned it down so its internet friendly so dont mind the jaggies.
One thing about this game is that items are not given to you, they are definitely earned, so if you dont want to run around looking like mr. silver surfer, or the brown avenger, you gonna have to suck it up and start hunting both lands and dungeons through epic mode.
Your right the decent stuff is hard to get on the most part, personally I'd have it no other way. On the variation in clothing great strides have been made over the past few months to make things even more appealing. Dark Templar is getting some lovin in the next patch!
im kinda pissed my character info is on this website, i never registered to. its a violation of my privacy. is this website even legal? or is it even actually connected or related to AOC? just curious on the legal ramifications of having my info of my character on some strange website i wish to have no part in. it displays my stats, my gear, and my character, what if i dont want my character displayed? i think its Bullshit in a handbasket frankly and Id like to know what i can do to have no part in it.

My issue is I can't get my toons into the DB. I'm on Wiccana and it says it updates from Khesh and Tortage trade port. Well, I'm not high enough for Kesh yet, and I've been to Tortage a few tiems, and still my profiles aren't updated (they've been at level 5-15 for a few months). Anyone know why that is?
Unfortunately that site doesn't work very well.
Check out this link, take a look at the class and take a look at the gear. It's showing Ranger gear while the character is a Demo wearing completely different gear ingame. Demo can't even wear light armor as yellow gremlin suggests.

And the update speed is very slow, that character is now level 56 but it's still showing as 48.
Despite that, it's a nice site and a good effort from the people behind it.

so in other words im forced to register onto a stupid website i want no part of. i just want my character info off. saying it not my character, its not their character to lay claim too either. they arent part of funcom so whats your point?

Avery, search Axle on Cimmeria. It shows my T1 legs but the picture still shows Tier 0 legs.

Funcom is trying to make money. This site promotes community, which will lead to further subs, which leads to more money for Funcom. Even if only slightly. The amount of resources the site provides, gives players a plethora of info that Funcom DOESN'T have to spend money providing.
So, in all, if YOU don't like your info out there, YOU are have to make an effort to stop it. Since, in the big picture, YOU mean little. It's not like there isn't a way to stop it. There is, but you'll have to make minimal effort if it's really that important to you.
There are far more people that enjoy what it has to offer, then those who don't. But, there is an option for those who don't. Whether you're willing to take the steps to get what you want, is up to you. But, bitching an whining b/c they're doing something you don't like, won't change jack shit.

whatever dude my stance still stays the same ill continue to be vocal about it. i in fact wrote them an email, lets see where this goes, knowing how these comminuty assholes are like, I wont get shit done about it. but there is always alternatives.....i think we know where I am going with that.

all you have done is advised me to go register to a website i want nothing to do with. thats not good advice. the funny shit is i actually registered on a temporary email i can delete and i have yet to recieve a activation email from yg.com so what gives?
