Well, it can look as fishy as you want it to, but I got in beta with this so I'd venture a guess that it isn't.

bit.ly is a URL shortening website like tinyurl.com. That URL leads to the Free Realms website signup page.
Yeah I figured out the bit thing, was too lazy to look.
Anyways, curious? I just jumped on when the next 1000 thing was up under 2 min and registered. Did you get an email immediately with accepting you? all I got was the acknowledgement email.
I got the last key sorry guys.
I got mine pretty quickly, however, I actually used a link from the previous night and didn't sign up until say 12 hours after that link was posted. I think they send out the acceptance emails all at once at a certain time. It's not instantaneous. They posted on their that people that signed up should check their boxes this afternoon and this evening. But who knows. I legitimately got accepted from there, so I would just wait on it, if not tonight, prob tomorrow I would guess.
Ok, actually, I think it's random. I think the next 1000 people thing is just something they are saying. I had tried to get accounts for my gf and her son and signed up new accounts every time. The account I signed up LAST like a couple hours after the others, off the same link using tor cause I thought maybe they weren't allowing same IP signups, got accepted FIRST. Then I got an email later about a different account that was from same IP address, one of the original attempts. So, I'd say the 1000 people is just BS and they are taking from the pool of people that sign up through those links randomly. Just saying.
Has anyone received one after having already created an account? It says to merely go to the page and you'll get 'flagged.' It doesn't mention making a new account every time they release the 1000 slots.
I accidentally happened to get an extra beta key for free realms. if anyone who wants to have it just message me, first message gets the key.
