Well, I was there but it was crazy. There was seriously at least a few thousand people there. Line wrapped around the building, out into the parking lot, back again, etc. Think they said they had 3000 copies, but I doubt that would have been enough. That and at the rate things were going, they said it would take about 6 hours to get in. I left at 11:30 and decided to pick mine up in the morning at best buy.

Man the line was huge at Fry's!!! I got their at 10:40pm. and got out att 3:30am with my box all sigh from The Blizzard developers the 5 hours. It was well worth the wait!!!

Oh well, I just went to Walmart this morning at 7am and picked up WoW, Pirates! and Harry potter 3 for DVD on my way to work.

Damn, we shoulda coordinated this better... my friends and I were only like 100 people back, we got in and were outt there by 1:00 am. It woulda been cool if you'd found us and we coulda cut you up to the front with us. I almost got in a few fights that night with people trying to cut in front of my group, hehehe.

Anyway, let me know what you think about Pirates! I'm really curious as to how it compares with the original as well as the average length of a game. BTW, if anyone's interested, my friends and I are on the Pac PVP server FrostWolf, send me a /tell, the name's Tahlyn.

We sure are bud ... we only created VV back in the early days of DAOC. I quit that some time back but we are in the process of building it back up atm.

I will keep you informed here

We have not yet decided upon which server we are gonna play full time .. its hard for us as we are UK players but with at least 60% of our online mates being from the states. So we are gonna let it settle down and see what happens.

IMO all the best guilds that last the course are the ones that take their time setting up and think hard about thier players wants and needs.

A guild is for life not just for xmas LOL
