BTW, I've left my WoW still installed in my system since it's the same build as retail gold master verison.

yeah, I just finished the install, setup my account, and logged in.. it did the restart and downloaded the update.. now it's installing.. we shall see

Tried Walmart, they either didn't have it, the salesperson was too lazy to look or they were more informed about release dates than most Walmart employees.
Tried Gamestop. The Gamestop website listed release date as the 22nd, not 23rd and their store locator showed the game in stock. The employees, however, first tried to deny they had any in yet, then said they did but couldn't sell it, no matter what date was on their company's website.
It was close to closing, so I walked the mall for w while and peeked back in right as they were about to close. What do you know, three copies behind the counter for the three employees, the bastages!
So, I'm without WoW until tomorrow. Sucks a little more because I'm a night person and will not only be missing some quality play time, but will have to get up at the god aweful hour of 8AM to go get a copy. hehe
It's really to bad they couldn't have worked out an online key purchase system, especially since the OB client can be used for retail, (in fact, allows you to skip some patching those who install from disk will need to endure).
I'm not too worried about being a few hours behind, servers will be coming up as needed during the day and I have a feeling business is going to be brisk.
I just wish my local Gamespot employees weren't such dicks, they might even have been able to get a nice bribe from me if they had played their cards right!

I have to wait for Fed Ex to deliver the freaking CD to my got darn freaking door tommorrow.. Chances are the idiot fool of a driver will deliver it to the wrong house again or maybe not at all... Damn me and my lazy self, I should have just went to Walmart and got the mother freaking game....
If you hear about a FeD Ex guy getting shot tommorrow on the news, that will be me.

I was paranoid about finding a copy on release day so I pre-paid for one at Gamestop so they will hold it for me tomorrow. Now all I gotta do is wait for them to open!

Walmart had them in stock!! At 1 am.. Yay! I guess I wasn't the only one, the woman who rung me up was telling me how she thought they had run out, because she had seen so many purchased since Midnight.
I must wait for my local EBGames to open, but sadly I will be in class when it does. I have to wait until all my college classes are done for the day before I can run over it pick it up. So I will not be installing it until after 5PM EST. This sucks. I cannot miss classes today because of projects due and tests.
