First of all I am totally not here to flame blizzard. I've liked the games the company has made and the things they put out but this by fair has been the biggest disappointment. When I got into the stress and open beta i reallzed how unready this game really was.
No amount of complaining can show just how angry some people are. For those people who had questioned buying this game the first day. Please go read the forums and tell me what you think.

A similar lag/queue thing will happen with the european release, but let's just see how many whine posts there will be on the european forums? I'd say around 4. If someone quits playing WoW because of launch day(or even launch week traffic, launch month traffic I'd definitely quit over) traffic, that person is a lunatic. It's all for show... within two weeks they'll be congratulating blizz on a job well done. Or then blizz is truly screwed. New situation for them.
Blizzard is losing more fans every second that they don't post the truth on their site and europeans will be watching also. Just my thoughts but sales are going to go down the shitter if word gets out that there customer service constist of:
Queues are necessary at the beginning because thousands of players located in a very small area of the world (the new player areas) creates lag. As the population begins to disperse over the next few days the server caps will be increased.

I haven't seen any queues. Try choosing a server with low or medium population. You'll get into those immediately.

Face it forcing people out of the game and to wait in line is NOT a smooth opening by anyone's imagination.... This Q thing sucks and sucks egg H A R D.

Whats funny is how many other problems are going on right now that you wont hear about because of this issue

1. Most People cant make a guild.
2. Half of the CDS that come with the game dont even work.
3. Server names messing up under peoples names.

Everyone tried to log into the same servers at the same time.....
What did people think was going to happen? Instead of playing on the server in their own time zone people all wanted to play on central and east coast servers. I logged into the most populated server in my time zone (PVP Deathwing) and got right in. It was lag free and wonderful.
You cant expect me to believe that everyone who wanted to play on the central and east coast servers actually live in those time zones or that all of them were in a guild that would be on that server. People do stupid things then blame somebody else when it doesnt work out.
Log into a different server. There are plenty with no Ques and no waiting enjoy.

Yup these are the real main problems right now.... Blizzard needs to wise up and just lock servers at a certain point in population that way these people will be forced to choose others ones....Also they need to do this fast so we dont get "two of my guild mates are already lvl 20, this is bs I cant get in there with them now" messages.... Wait it may already be too late for that.....
Still a great game though, even with all the problems right now...

The launch went smootly at 12am. Very good. Not crowded at all. Now I get on tonight and play for 10 min before it crashes

launch was great as far as i could tell, but i didnt get on till about 2am central time........
about 5 or so hours ago when i logged back it was kinda laggy and there was a Q, now i cant get from my char list to the game.............
good stuff............ if i cant get in i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown, but its aight

All I can say is LOL. If people are so stupid they absolutely have to be on the same server as all the big guildes, then they have only themselves to blame.
And I think Blizzard should defenitely limit the number of people on each server, and when the limit is topped, lock the server for new people.

Queues are the best thing they could do, I agree it sucks to be stuck in a queue, but they had to limit server population else everyone would lag like crazy and crash instead.
When people spread out more they will change the server limit to higher and after awhile there won't be any queues at all.
If people would spread out on all servers instead of joining same the queues would be minor and everyone could enjoy the game more, can't really blame Blizzard for that..
That some can't create guilds and things like that sucks tho and should get fixed, it seems like most that have problems have added random people to the guild and those random people have signed up for several guilds, I havn't heared many that had their 10 people ready, bought the guild thingy, signed it and returned it have a problem, but can be me that missed those posts.
