How is the lag?

I have a 2.0 GHz computer, cable modem, 528MB RAM, and a 128MB video card.  Will I be playing a slideshow like SWG or is it as smooth as the video previews make it look?

I've heard some people had 60 characters on the screen at once with little lag during a raid, is that true?

With that processor I would advise you to get 1gig ram, otherwise you should be fine in most cases. You are probably going to have screen freezes time to time when loading a zone but thats about it.

    well this might help.

I ran AMD 2800+ XP with 512mb ddr 333mhz and nvidia 5950 ultra 128mb. No lag.

Now I am at 80gb sata drive, same car/cpu, 1 gb of ram.

    PS:
Last day of OB i had well over 300 char on my scree and no lag (with old config)

1.6ghz 512Mb RAM and NVIDIA 4600 TI 128Mb on DSL, this decent but dated system ran the game just fine. All textures and lightning are at max just one option I left at default. NO LAG !

AMD 2800 - Nvidia 5700 w/256mb non ultra but, bought one with the faster ram - 1 gb pc3200 cas latency 2.5 - no lag at 1280 x 1024 (ordered an nvidia 6600GT AGP - they just came out)

No lag and it will be even super phatter with the 6600GT (plus half life 2 will be the BOMB!!)

My system is hanging by a thread : p3 733mhz, 320 mb RAM, GeForce 2 GTS pro

As you can see my system is far below the recommended and i STILL manage to have a great game, with hardly any lag. I'm sure your system can handle it image

They have a lot of graphics options that you can tune down, you should be fine.

Running the game on a 1.5ghz, 512mb RAM, and a 256mb video card flawlessly with almost full settings.

Little to no lag at all, but that also depends on the server your on.
