    Oh my god!  A 7 day trial, simply marvelous!  I'm VERY interested in getting a CD KEY.  I'm dedicated to knowing more about this game.  I'm not curious to see how the game play is, because just by reading the descriptions and screenshots I know it's a game for me.  However, I have to see if my computer can support it, so send a CD Key to me, right away!

    This is the worst time to get in to EVE, just don't do it until CCP get a hotfix or two out.

    The Exodus launch is a mess the server is unstable and "basic" game functions do not work as intended atm.

    It is also worth pointing out that CCP seem to have begun to implement "forced grouping" with the latest patch although it is too early to say for sure.

    Well, actually I am very interested in EVE, after reading all the good things ppl are posting, and the reviews are very very promising. As a bored ragnarok online player, I think i need a fresh game NOW! ^_^

    My intent with my post is and was to warn people trying EVE for the first time that this is not a good time to get a feel for how well things actually work ingame as right now there are outstanding issues with the EXODUS upgrade that are having a negative impact on gameplay,server performance and overall playability.

    CCP would have been wise to suspend the trials until things settle down, however Samael I hope you will have a plesant time during your trial and realize that EVE is usually far more stable/better than it is in its current state.

    Ok, I understand. Keeping that in mind, I think it's no problem for the newcomers to have a taste of the game. The lag, drops, whatever, are an usual thing of mmorpgs when things are upgrading. In fact, the quick the patches are applied, the more confidence in the game we players feel. Dont worry about the bad feeling we may experience, I think  we are aware of them image, and that is a temporary situation. I am looking for hooking on the next mmorpg, and one thing i have very clear is that i will not pay for nothing before I play it at least one day. I bought the Everquest saga long time ago... realizing after a couple of days that it was NOT my game... and realizing also that i threw my hard earned bucks to the recycle bin (my experience of course, I know there are lots of ppl playing EQ out there and they enjoy it image). Thats why I played Ragnarok Online quite a bit, they give the client and some free trial to test it. I think its the right choice for a company who wants a massive online game image

    Thanks for the advice Naos, I hope also that I will stay in EVE after the free trial.
