Question About Combat

I've recently started playing Spellborn, and I had a question about combat.

I love almost everything about spellborn.

I like the graphics, twitch based combat, skill deck, ancestral mages are so awesome, and I like the lore.

 

My only question is about the speed of combat.  I feel like my skill deck is rotating too slow.  When you are a higher level can you increase combat speed?  That seems to be my only gripe right now.  Also, is anyone at engame yet? What's that like?

    You need to boost Concentration to make the deck spin quicker, you'll have skills to do this and also Pep has an effect on the 'states'

    There are 3 bars below your hp, known as 'States' :-

    Yellow - Physique - Increases Movement Speed

    Purple - Morale - Increases Damage Output

    Green - Concentration - Increases the rotation speed of the skilldeck

    Your base State level is determined by your pep level.  0 Pep states will be at 5, then can increase by 1 level every at 1, 3 and 5.

    You must also be aware that enemies can reduce your States.
