There you go.
Honestly, I don't care how popular it may be. Miley Cyrus is very popular, but it doesn't make her music good. I like good games regardless of how 'big' they are going to be.
Both Acclaim and SiL have stated they want to treat it as a slow build (sub wise) niche game. Noone is pushing it as the next 'big thing', no more then, say, EVE was ever the next 'big thing'.
I pretty much share Aganisers view on things.
If it has enough people to turn a sustainable profit to fund continued development then thats enough for me. Anything more then that is only for the stockholders and sheeple to be happy about.
I personally want the people who developed and thought out this game to be justly compensated for their outstanding work. It is very important for the gaming industry to "break new ground". I don't know them from Jack but fairness is important to me. So I would say whatever number of players needed to accomplish that goal would be good for me.

Sure, I think we all do
'Sustainable profit' would of course include the people who work on the game being paid.
btw as a eu is there a way to get on u.s severs ? or are they the international cous the eu severs feels empty
You can freely start a character on the US servers while living in the EU. The PvP server is very full, the PvE server is less populated.
Akklaim was a bit smarter than SiL when it comes to servers. Instead of putting out way too many from the start they just started with 2 and have a wait and see if they get overcrowded policy.
