That looks great. What impressed me more was how wide open those maps looked. The closed maps was one of the only beefs I had with CoX, and it was a minor beef considering I subbed for over 3 years.
Holy Crap. When I saw the other forum post that just said: "Swinging Travel Power" I thought it was some naive wish list item by an 11 or 12 year old that doesn't know the limits of technology in an online game. Apparently I'm the naive one. I am floored that they can incorporate what appears to be smooth and fluid Spiderman 2-type swinging into an MMO game. I for one and absolutely going with this power. Jumping from ledge to ledge to scale a building in CoH was fun, but absolutely nothing beats this.
I have to admit my interest in the game increased considerably looking at the effort they put into a single travel power and seeing the expansive city setting.
I'll be watching the game more closely, and I don't have to watch for long either!
I read a GREAT review last night...the person reviewing the game wanted to push it to the max so they created a Half Shark Half Man character that Duel Weilded Katana's. At lvl 5 they got the next upgrade in power and instead of sticking with the blades added a Shoulder mounted Gatlin gun to the char!! That is epic win! They said the Char creation is COH on Roids and you can spend hours making about any char you would like to.
The travel powers seem amazing..there are something like 6 different ones in the game (teleportation, swinging, super jump, flight (wings and jet boots ala iron man), super speed, etc)....This reviewer had chosen Teleportation. Basically they said when you push the teleport button the world slows way down and goes gray and you can move in ANY direction at a high rate of speed...up, down, etc...but the world will return to normal in a few seconds and your char will have teleported to the location you moved them too while it was grayed out.
Every press review I have read so far from the Beta testers has been pretty positive
You realize the NDA has not actually been lifted, right?
Nobody broke NDA... unless you're claiming IGN broke the NDA.
But I'd be 99% willing to bet that IGN, being the largest english game site, probably had permission to post the video... that appeared to be made specifically for posting...
Who, and what, NDA violation are you attempting to point out?

Do you have the link for the review with the Shark man?

The press NDA is different isn't it? At least that's from a Crypitc quote in another thread on the forum.
