Blizzard Extending trial period.

Looks like the whiners got their way, blizzard is extending the trial period! Dont know by how much but only the people who created accounts durring the first couple days will benefit from this.
Main problem here is the game was far more popular then they hoped/expected. They had to double the number of servers and for some of the more popular ones had to do some major reworking. I would however like to point out that my server has had little to no problems accept being down once for maybe 3 hours for a patch.

As a long time MMORPG gamer, I was completely stunned when I read that they were extending the free month for those affected. I actually had to give it time to sink in, so unprecedented is such a course of action.
Not only have Blizzard re-written the rules as regards MMORPG game-design, they seem to be doing the same for MMORPG customer service.
Naw... Verant used to do this sort of thing all the time... they used to refund people like 50 cents if they game was down for a couple days and crap... lol...
Also Anarchy Online was so crappy on release that they just added another ENTIRE free month. So its not so very unprecedented... but its nice.
