Server Pop

rcook16rcook16 Member UncommonPosts: 60

I just got done my nine day trail of the game and loved it.  I am thinking about purchasing the game but was just wondering what server(s) have the largest server population.  The server I was playing on (dont remember off the top of my head which one it was) seemed to be very under populated.  For the whole time I was playing I feel like I only saw about 30 or so other people playing.  Are all the servers like this or did I just happen to pick a low populated one?

Thanks

There has a been a survey lately made on all EU servers.

The survey about the amount of people online on monday morning EU time.

The results were 1300-2200 people online in every server on monday morning. Plus it didnt count anonymous players which are untrackable by the social panel. So at prime time, there might be around 4000-7000 people online on every server. Pretty good I'd say.

I would definitely go with one of the more populated servers unless you've found a kin that you know will be helpful in geting group quests accomplished on the server you chose.  This is a great game but if you choose one of the lesser populated servers it can become very frustrating trying to accomplish group related quests.  I cannot speak for the EU side of things but there is a considerable difference in populations on the NA side when dealing with populations on servers so if those are the ones you are choosing from definitely go for one of the more populated ones that others have mentioned unless, as I said before, you found a good kinship because if that's the case then you really have nothing to worry about no matter which server you choose.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.
