Unable to get the Chinese version to work

Well, I tried multiple times but it just is not meant to be.
I have downloaded the game as explained in various threads.....I dropped the English Patch into the L10 folder; that does nothing too.
I have an account but am unable to buy time as my computer will NOT list the Chinese characters....when this computer was built the Chinese language was not loaded so everything shows up as either boxes or strange and random characters from a variety of languages, to include symbols, dipthongs, etc......but no English or Chinese.
Now you have to list your server and region to buy time but if you can not read the characters for the server or region....you are screwed!!! That is my case.....

I was in the same position. Somehow I managed to buy gametime, just luck i guess. Not sure if they actually need your region, server, and character name in order for the gametime to work. Not sure why they ask for it, probably so they can send you goldspam.

Well, i some how am playing the Korean version....dont ask me how but I know Korean as I spent a year there in the Army and took a semester of Korean.
Weird thing is I haven't paid anything......wtf.
Of course my English patch is not doing a damn thing for me.....but I am killing things.....
Their servers are split up based on region thats why you tell them where you want them to think you live.
I picked the northern china region, or I thought.....That is where most of the English speakers are supposed to be.....but I can't read a damn thing so I just started clicking and ended up playing there.....
There are like 7 regions there so just buy a lil bit on the first one and login to check if u got it, if not but a bit on the 2nd one ets.
The English patch breaks the TOS and EULA and as such is not supported @ ;MMORPG.com, or the discussion of the English patch.
The Korean client is also a completely seperate client download than the Chinese client, and are currently patched ahead of the Chinese version. You're probably playing on another China region.
