What is the difference between normal PVP RP and stuff.

 

What server is where hored is against alliance and there is alot of people and you can pvp each other with rp still going on? Is there any server like that..

 

Pvp = just pvp?

RP = just RP

Normal = pvp Rp and everything all in one?

    I don't really understand your question there. It seems to be missing a few punctuation characters.
    But anyway, for what I know, the servers marked as "PvP" are free PvP. Meaning, if you see someone of the opposite allience, you can attack and kill him, and he can do the same to you.
    Normal servers you can attack someone, but he won't receive damage. When you attack someone you enter the PvP mode. But he needs to attack you back in order to actually engage in the PvP too. So you can only kill people who choose to participate in the PvP.

    RP is entirely different. Its got nothing to do with PvP. You can RP on any server. But the servers marked RP are especially for people who prefer RPing over not RPing. I don't know about the PvP status on those servers.

    Its horde VS allience on ALL realms. Its just different rule sets as to how you can engage in PvP.

    from the US open beta - RP servers were much like "normal" servers...
    ie, PvP only when you flagged yourself for it, and when challenging people in your "group"

    no open PvP on RP servers ...

    of course, that may have changed since game is live now.. <shrug>

    First off, there are 2 types of areas: Your faction areas(if you're alliance, alliance areas, and viceversa) and contested zones (so in fact, 3 areas: horde, alliance and contested)
    Secondly, flagged for pvp means the person has typed /pvp or has hit any player or enemy faction's pvp. Pvp flag lasts about 5 mins without attacking another enemy.

    PvP servers - You can kill anyone in contested areas without warning. You can kill flagged for pvp people in they're zones, but not non-flagged. And same for them in your areas (so, it's not free PvP).

    PvE servers - You cannot kill noone unless he's flagged for pvp.

    RP servers - exactly the same as PvE servers, but you must RP (you can be reported...).

    That are all the options right now.
