hi all,
i m new to this MMORPG world. I just played 2 games Armada Online(which i quit in a week) and Last Chaos(playing for 3 months).
I love RPG games, and i always wondered about something like having real life people in my favourite games like Oblivion and Gothic. I thought, MMORPG is exactly what i am thinking about and with that mindset i started to play Last Chaos.
But after sometime only, i came to realize that this game is all about grinding(which was a new word to me, because i like and always do hunting, not grinding, in my favourite RPGs), apart from the wonderful people in there..
So, i searched many games which is a real mmoRPG game, but didnt found any. Also, i am a student now, i cant afford money to play non f2p games...
So, i am here to ask you experts, to tell me some good f2p game which is not fully about grinding and has good PVP system(because, LC discourages PVP, as players who do PK get red name and reduced stats), and places importance on Parties, group playing(as i can always solo in my single player games itself)

Try out Shadowbane and see what you think before the scheduled July closure. If you like it, you can encourage Aeria Games at their Twitter page to buy it and keep it running. They've asked for some feedback there on what people think of the game.
Guildwars. It do costs a few dollars to buy (youll find it cheap, the original campaign costs something like $10) and it have no mothly fees.
Almost no grind and great PvP, a good story too. Initially it i rather easy but it gets real hard so you need a good party later in the game.
It is the best you can find without paying any monthly fees. It is made by Jeff Strain, the guy behind Diablo and Warcraft 3, if you played Diablo then you will feel at home here... It is more advanced than Diablo of course and you have different attacks but it still have some of the Diablo feeling in it.
Eternum Online. Also I would have said Shadowbane but, you know... RIP.
I would suggest Atlantica Online. It is a F2P turn based Rpg with fun pvp.
