youtube has again baned Alex Jones (prisonplanet) videos, this time blocking access to the Infowarrior video channel.
youtube is also banning pro free-speech/alex jones user accounts.
Previously youtube blocked the Alex Jones Channel.
Now video.google is blocking new video upload content and redirecting to youtube (where videos are limited to 10 minutes.)
One can still access the Alex Jones content at infowarstv in flash format, and some news info suppressed nationally at liveleak.
Over 150 previous youtube videos see them before they are purged.

Now they took down the infowarrier?!? First the Alex Jones channel was erased, now this. Google isn't messing around anymore. They are now media gatekeepers for the feds and proud of it. Wow they really are doing this thing. Welcome to the new internet guys. Don't say we didn't warn you.
The infowars websites were attacked last week and in general the attacks against Alex are really heating up. Of course if this doesn't stop him, which it won't, maybe they'll give him the William Cooper treatment. AKA "shoot you on your front lawn to shut you up".

I do not know what that is all about, but I do know that I use YouTube less and less.
Too much content is censored, and so many of the popular YouTube personalities are really just paid advertisers.
YouTube has never been profitable, and I have made posts months and months ago about how Google --my source is primarily the NY TIMES-- is engaging in widespread censorship not just in the USA but around the world.
Google is interestingly digitizing many books, in and out of print, copyrighted and not copyrighted. In the out of copyright, it is fine because there are no interests there. In the middle are the books in the vast majority of our libraries that are not . . . what is the word . . . sellable?
Many of these works lack owners, protected interests, and so forth. Google wants to digitize all of these works, AND become a digital bookseller. To become a subscription-based LIBRARY that is the only . . . one really in the world with the resources to control sole and exclusive access over these works.
It has caught the attention of the Department of Justice's anti-trust division. See Miguel Heft, Justice Dept. Opens Antitrust Inquiry Into Google Books Deals, NY TIMES, Apr. 28 2009, avaiable at www.nytimes.com/2009/04/29/technology/internet/29google.html. If they want these books available to people, then they will be in the archive; if they do not want certain books available, they can take it out of the "library." Google could become THE library the next generations grow-up with, and it will know what books you are reading. Do you want Google, with its record of censorship and spying, becoming THE library?
Here's a subject I would probably meet you agreeably on declaredemer. I too have become quite wary of the whole "gatekeeper of information" mentality we are facing on the net. Things were so much... hmm... ("better" and "freer" don't describe it right) several years ago. Suffice to say, the net was much more enjoyable when you were free to roam without restriction to content, IPs, etc.
Capitalism is extremely corrupt because of the people at the top controlling every move. We all know that the politics we see are just for show.
