Starcraft MMO + Old school Mmo's (Imagine)

First of all this thread is not intended to start any kind of flame war (prefferably at me lol )
Now with the fact that everyone knows that Blizzard are developing an mmorpg and the speculation as to what it will be. Imagine:
A starcraft based MMORPG with the community of old EQ and the features of all the other respectable mmo's out there.
I dont know about you guys but that just sounds kickass to me. Now, their new mmo is highly unlikley to be a World of Starcraft or an mmo based on Starcraft with a different title (Personally World of starcraft sounds stupid as hell anyways) If it was then we all know what it would be like; the exact same situation that Blizzard has made WoW expect with Starcraft.
You log in, create a character (with that classic starcraft look in the background) some races to chose from (terran marine's ect)
now here is the annoying part . If WoW was to do something like this and did not stray from their current ...style you would get
questing> new spells> questing >level cap > dungeons > high teir gear > expansion > rinse and repeat. (With a shit load of grinding and a dash of unbalanced nubcaek pvp ofcourse 
- no, I'm not a WoW hater.)
Now here is were the "Imagine" part comes in.
Just think of something like this but with tons more emmersion and a real reason to play. Imagine it brought back loads of the older mmo players and blizzard steered away from their usual thing that they do and gave us a real game to play. (I think slight hint of tabula rasa gun play would be pretty sexy for a Blizzard title too... but you could change view modes so it wasn't retardly 1st person which is just akward for blizzard imo)
I know it wont ever happen and some of you may wish it not too. But this is in no way intended to start anything other than discussion

I have yet to play a MMO that has not been a grind fest. I would love a Universe of Starcraft and have 3 realm PVP.
Indeed mate. Every game now a days either does not have a developed PVE end game (*Cough* WAR *Cough) or is just an endless grind where your gear you spent so long tyring to get is replaced by the next expansion.
Imagine Realm versus realm combat with some sort of gun mechanic (and obviously some non gun combat for others who choose) in a pretty large scale with true RVR like Daoc

I actually forgot about that! It will be a long while away but it may be really good if done right. (Ofc most games these days are always a let down so I'm thinking things could go wrong more than the chances of them actually sucseeding. Hopefully things will change by that time huh?)
