MMOFPS Similiar To Halo Or Any Good FPS

Well I am a Halo freak. You ever get the feeling where you get a hint of a game. Play a little at your friends. Go back and play the game some more. Then you can't get enough of it but you can't buy the game yourself due to money, console requirement, or game rating? I don't own Halo but I love it. Are there any MMOFPS to download similiar to Halo 1, 2, or 3? I don't care if it is army related or futuristic like halo is. (Even though I prefer futuristic.) If there is any thing similiar to Halo such as weapons gameplay or it is just a wonderful game please speak up. Even if you find it NOTHING like halo, that doesn't mean you shouldn't suggest it. I already play War Rock, Combat Arms, Cross Fire, and Quake Live. So don't suggest them.

Have you played any of the Unreal Tournament games?
They have a more sci-fi and futuristic feel to them like Halo, but no customization like War Rock or Op 7.
Hmm. I'll check it out. Thanks. But Unreal Tournament is second on my list. First I check out Op 7.

On Op 7 it is downloading right now but I might not be able to try it. Ooops Italics are messed up. Well I try to make an account and it gets messed up when I try to check my email. And when I put verification code in perfectly it says it's wrong. I'm using Google Chrome so now I'll try with IE or Mozilla Firefox.

Since both these options are probably off my list. (Still maybe op 7.) I need more suggestions. When I say Halo similiar I mostly mean futuristic or the extreme depth of the game with lots of weapons and character customization. (No character customization is ok. It's just a plus)

Combat Arms and Crossfire are both free to play FPS games. Can't really say they are like halo, but they are FPS games that are free. Both are fun too.
This one shouldbe partially free, not sure now.
Just pointing it out to clwoods that I have played both those games. I wrote that at the bottom of my first post. ^.^

Well Herodes Planet Side looks great. Someone said on youtube that it's not free but I will check it out. This is strange. The website and gameplay gives me a HUGE day-ja-vou! I feel like I have seen this game before. I wonder what stopped me from trying it in the past . . . Well thanks for the suggestion. So far your suggestion looks like the best.
By the way everyone, I have decided I am being too picky. From now on all I want is a good fps. Can you help me with that? And if you are going to suggest please read the first post to see which games I have already played.

planetside is p2p but is the best and one of the only MMOFPS those other games are just lobby fps no MMO, cause if CF and OP7 are MMOFPS then so is CS1.6/CSS or battlefield. but on planetside its a really really good game, at least untill the bfr those kinda messed it up but theyve balanced them since thier release, i would say try it if you can get a trial

Well I'm glad you say it is a good game. Because surprisingly for myself, I looked at the game and I am going to actually BUY the game. I am working on it right now. This looks like a keeper!

Enjoy Planetside! It's a great game and I had some good times there. You sound like you aren't new to FPS's, but if you find you die a lot in the beginning, don't be discouraged. It takes a little time to get the hang of. Try different weapons and/or factions. As you become more comfortable you will find it's a blast!

you wont ever see a F2P MMOFPS. At least not in the next 2 years. Your best bet would be Huxly (coming out this year aparently) or possibly planetside (population is a little low and the game is a bit dated).
Non MMO's you have a crazy amount of games from the Battlefield series, to Team fortress, to the Call of duty games, to counter strike. Plenty of shooters in the multiplayer market.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
You have a point there and my true answer is that I would prefer something similiar to Halo. Though it is hard to come by, I now only want f2p games since I just bought PlanetSide and I don't want to buy anything else soon,
