I don't like WoW anymore but I'm glad that it exists and has a massive 11.5M subs

Because otherwise the guys with the money would just say: theres no money in making MMO:s.

But now with WoW's success they can't which makes me glad and hopeful about the future of MMORPG's.

/rant off and goodnight everyone.

Since WoW launch it's been the typical grab and run senario with companies that just want to make money, that's why there are so many horrible undeveloped trash games out now, most of them lure players in with IT"S FRREEZZ OMGFZ . oh but actually to make the game any fun you have to pay 39$ for tons of unessicary crap like exp mod and in game items. A majority of mmo's are imitation WOW wanna be's with a few original games that should be acknowledged on their creativity and style, there are eve a few games that could of been great aka RYL, but were bought out by the big guys with big salarys. Honestly I think blizzard has one of the best support and player influnced game on the market, they listen to their players and try to balance the game the best they can. They're one of the few passionate and original game developers that will probabaly ever be, along with bungie.

WoW will be remembered in history because it brought MMOs to the mainstream (although I could argue EQ1 did that first and WoW took it to the next level)
