The new Star Trek movie also had something that I felt was odd like Star Wars had and thats how fast he became commander of the ship, like in a day. Which watching Star Wars Luke Sky Walker became better than most Jedi in a day and defeated Darth Vader who had been training all his life....... really dumb. Oh and also how all it took to kill the Emporer was being chucked over the side, like WoWWWWWW........ he's so powerful :S

Besides, for me the side is clear pro-Star Wars. Not that I dislike Trek. But seriously, what would YOU more like to be, a military officer in a payama in a space ship with KIDS and FAMILIES, or a Jedi/Sith with a cool lightsaber? Seriously, SW beats Trek in coolness any day!

Yeah apart from what you didn't see in that video was Luke beat Vader easily and he chose not to kill his dad and put his saber away and then the Emporer attacked him. The dumb part when Vader picked him up and chucked him over the side aswel is BS.
Tbh if Star Wars was to keep things real then the Rebels woulda been wiped out cause they had no chance. The frigging Empire builds giant Death Stars and owns the Galaxy and yet they can't defeat a small army of Ewoks................ fuck off Lucas you just ruined Star Wars.
Only 2 good Star Wars movies and Episode 6 ain't one of em.
Very funny video. However I love that people are picking out about 5-10 minutes worth of similarities in a two hour movie and claiming its just a clone of Star Wars because of it. I could do the same thing to almost every SciFi movie that has been released since Star Wars. To me this whole thing is the exact same thing as all the idiots that claim every MMO since WoW is just a WoW clone. I have to admit though that the video was quite entertaining.

Let me walk you through this mate - Luke Skywalker had resolved NOT to fight his father, Anakin Skywalker aka DARTH VADER, because Luke sensed that there was still good in his father worth redeeming. While Luke had gotten better, Darth Vader had a huge disadvantage [being his largely cybernetic body] which simply slowed him down in a duel against a much younger, much more agile and quicker opponent a la Luke.
The Emperor was using Force Lighting. What is lightning? Well it's electricity. When you use Force lighting, you are NOT actually touching the lighting as much as conjuring and controlling it through the Force. Darth Vader, being largely cybernetic and metal makes for an EXCELLENT conductor of energy. He grabbed the Emperor interrupting that concentrated energy and the elercticity basicaly travelled through vader into the Emperor shocking him constantly, literally into 'shock', unable to free himself and then plumetting to a terrible deep down SPLATTY death. This in turn was the redemption of Darth Vader as well as his dying act.

As for Kirk, much like in 'real life' often the LOUDEST people are the ones most heard. But I do agree it was quite unorthodox how quickly they just said 'Well here's a ship of your own after you survived all that!' but hey, I don't think they make medals big enough for what he actually went through and accomplished so a ship of his own had to do
