Very nice and much needed! I think they did some experience balance changes since release that made it easier to gain levels in the first two zones. I remember back when I tried the EU trial I could complete most of Aldenvault before reaching the cap. Now I can barely get started on Aldenvault before I reach the cap. This change should set it straight.
I think this is a good idea as joining a High House and starting your house quests at level 9 is a fun and significant part of the game, new players should experience this before deciding whether or not to subscribe.
Now if they made it cheaper to play a month it would be worth getting into.
Starting quests still suck so i'm not going to bother, sorry.
Game is promising, but first few levels are just horrible.
Dude, this is one of the cheapest pay to play game out right now. You can subscribe for about $9.00/mo if you buy coins. And that isn't even including the regular specials that they run all the time.

Well according to there own website it costs 15 a month sub with credit card.
or
1500 coins for 30 day sub, now since you can't buy 1500 coins you have to either buy 2 - 1005s or 1 2010. Now lets break down the math there.
1005 = 7 / 10 - with / without membership
2010 = 14 / 20 with / without membership
So, even after paying for a membership you STILL play 14 a month, how is that 9 bucks a month?

I did the math a while back as well. Its not that complicated.
$10.00 for the Acclaim membership
$70.00 for 11555 coins (note that you can get much more when Acclaim is running a special)
$80.00 / 11555 = $0.0069 per coin *** That is the cheapest option per coin ***
180 day membership is 7800 coins
7800 * $0.0069 = $54.00 for 180 days of membership
$54 / 6 months = $9.00 per month
Yes that means you would have coins left over. Yes that means that you would be buying 6 months worth of subscription. But its still $9.00 per month. If you're willing to do some surveys and buy coins during specials then its quite a bit cheaper. There is also lots of middle ground in between the $9.00 option and the $15.00 option.
Its almost just like that bit of basic math that 90% of the population doesn't seem to understand when it comes to Soda machines. You can pay 75 cents a day on a soda from the machine or you can buy a 12 pack from the supermarket for $4.00. I think this confuses your typical person because they don't understand how they can drink 12 sodas all at once. It further confounds them because $4.00 is obviously more money than 75 cents. I blame public education.

Ok, I understand where your coming from but unfortunatly its not 9 dollars a month, it's 54 bucks for 6 months that you have to spend 80 bucks to get. I normally aint one to go throwing 80 bucks in a game. I made the mistake with buying more then one month increments in Warhammer and I ain't going to do it again cause I ended up paying for 2 months that I didn't play. So I stick with my statement about lowering the sub price, let's just be more specific and say lower the credit card sub price.
We're probably getting way off topic now, but its been ridiculous how much I've spent on other MMORPG's. I need to buy games for both myself and my wife. I spent about $130 on AoC and we played for one month. Then I spent $100 on WAR and played for two weeks.
I have spent about $60 on Spellborn and we played for two months already. Spellborn has been the cheapest MMORPG I have played.
Kinda how I felt also........Also that tutorial is the worst I have ever played....I almost didnt even make it through that I was so bored......By the time I got into the world I had zero desire to ever roll an alt........
Heck yeah man! It reminds me of that time I went to a strip club. It took me 20 godamm minutes to get to the club. It was the worst drive I ever had with traffic and parking and all that mundane garbage. By the time I got there I never wanted to see any more T&A ever again in my life!
