    Easily the best patch notes i have seen yet. great work AV.

    Now i can actually specialize in archery and not every monkey who stands against a wall can be as high as me  :) i know there are players that have already got a high skill from doing this but ill just have to live with that :(

    And some of the more neglected spells seem to have had an upgrade too, wont be just a MM fight :)

    Should be MUCH easier to skill up now.  I am curious if hitting yourself with magic splash damage will work for skilling up.

    So basically, target practice is useless?  If I go to a shooting range to shoot at the wall where there's a target dummy, I won't get better at it?  All these years I've been wasting my time?  Thanks for ruining my life AV!

    Good move. But I do have to point out, that the MMOs they are attempting to emulate, solved this 10 years ago.

    True but at least they are listening, give them that plz bloodworth. I know you are a leet critic of every mmorpg and all that, but at least they listen, I do not know that many devs that emulate that.

     Easily one of the best patches. The grind was unbereable damn, hopefully it will be significantly faster to skilll up now, and you have to get out there and DO SOMETHING to gain it.

     

    Crafting is also quicker, good on that too.

     

    Game is heading in the right direction.

    Wish they would have added more mobs or increase the spawn rate. Every mob spawn i checked was pretty packed close to the starter areas. Usually people are always coming and going, now they're camping them. I do it too, not complaining about people camping, just not enough mobs for everyone to skill up. Just my first impression. things may settle down.

    Good game development progression, which is what is expected and experienced with each and every other mmo. Glad to see the game-play improvements.

    True enough... but at least they've addressed it. It's a step in the right direction. Gotta give 'em that much.

    Now, if only i could buy the game. I actually tried to yesterday, however all 3 of my credit cards (with 3 different banks) failed to work.  I got some sort of transaction error or something, call you bank or wait till later.

    Not sure if the store was just not working correctly (or not actually up, because it was 7 pm ET) or did I really need to call my bank/cc company?

    BTW,

    I was asking them to do this over 2 months ago. 

    Beta testers were saying it before that.

    I really don't get how a company can not take action to fix something that is so very obvious, and that the playerbase repeatedly points out to them over the course of many months, and then get praised for making the change.

    There's no reason for this to not have been fixed before the game was release. 

    I see no reason for praise at this point.

    It's too late for the EU server, the damage is done - when things like this get "fixed" without the possibility of a rollback it only hurts new players.. they have successfully created a large gap between the old and the new. only the eventual US server will benefit from this
