That laptop has better specs than this desktop... which incidentally ran wow beta absolutly fine ... worry not, the only thing you might get is a little lag in flight .... thats about it... but I doubt you will get even that .... the lag was bearable on this pc... 256 mb ram p4 2ghz ... on board graphics with no ht&l .... have fun in WoW :DD

    • 4 GB or more of available hard drive space
    • DirectX® 9.0c or above
    • A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection
    Mac® System OS X 10.3.5 OS:
    • 933 MHz or higher G4 or G5 processor

    • ATI or NVIDIA video hardware with 32 MB VRAM or more

    hardware transform and lighting

This is what I"m concerned about. I know my laptop has the following setup.

    Pentium 4 2.66 GHZ
    512 mb Ram
    ATI Radeon IGP 345M 64mb

I had trouble running Lords of Everquest and War of the Ring due to not having Hardware T&L but I ran Dark Age of Camelot, Everquest, Halo, both Warcraft 3 games, and several others without any trouble. Even Anarchy Online. Do you think my laptop with those specs can handle WoW?

Anyone have a similar system or graphics card? Anything similar to this beign asked on the official forums?

    Thanks.

You can run medium or maxed out settings. Naturally, you will get lower FPS on maximum graphics settings than medium, but it shouldn't be too hard of a hit for you.
