A Ex-Eq2 player first opinion of WOW

WARNING : Yeah i know my english is crappy but that because I am French....
I quit Eq2 not because it whas bored or dint have pvp, no i quit because i got a strange lag problem that i never resolve 
Nobody want a healer that need 5-20 sec to cast a spell. Eq2 IS FUN!
First impression of wow : Man why i cant set the size of my toon? The graphic are so low of polygone... nice texture but that rope look like.... OMG i dont lag?!? Huge FPS?! I FEEL SOO GOOD!

Good think of WoW
-Mission make more sense
-The animation when talking to NPC
-I love some of the texture... *i know I am wierd* 
-WoW got some funny stuff that make me happier
-The performance on low-end machine like mine (a stupid Sempron 2800+)
-REAL RP server (Vs the RP prefered on Eq2)
-The warrior charge... that look soooo good 
Bad think of WoW
-I miss the Voice Over of Eq2
-I miss the UI of Eq2
-I miss the heroic Opportunity of Eq2 (Please someone tell me what rogue combo are like)
-I am the only priest out here or what???
-Man polygone are soooo low.....
Think i cannot know because i dont play enough
-Do monster drop treasure chest like Eq2? (i loved that)
-If talent can make toon unique?
So this game dont derserve the 9.5 of gamespot but this game look fun. I think i got at least two month of joy out here. But witch one win? Eq2 or WoW? I call it a draw.
*Can somebody that read the WoW book can tell me if they are good?*

CIM, you need to chill. Nowhere in the Topic heading or his post did he say anything about a "Review." He merely said that it was his first opinion and nothing more. He wasn't weighing in on which game is terrible or great, he just listed what he experienced with his first play's with each of them. In fact he leaves it fairly open to the fact that he hasn't decided which one he prefers yet. I fine threads like this a much better alternative to all those WOW vs. EQII threads. Plus I didn't see anything that was really "noobish" in his post except for the wording but that's only because it's not his native language.

i with you EQ@ rocked but got boring real fast and WoW is faster but theirs alot of thingys it could have had.
Heheh u do know that a low polly count is good for u? Beeing as u said u have a bad system
About the treasure chestss.. I don't think that mobs dropp them (but then I have yet to reach a lvl higher then 25 and play the retail
) But there are some treasure chests in certain areas.
And regarding to the flaming.. Grow up!! If u don't like what he says just ignore him. Don't go and post deragatory remarks of ppl trying to share their own personal wiev of the game. That will lead to me getting endlessly flamed for sure
Oh and my native language isn't english either so... feel free to flame me about it

I have started a troll Priest on the Eastern second RP server (Earthen Ring i think....) named Iken. I am looking for a good guild by the way. My english is poor but speaking troll "Iz not hard"!
Just maybe a personal note : I seem the easy soloing class are VERY popular... bah that make just me popular.
i've heard that priests and shaman are pretty popular b/c of how easy they are to play. perhaps most of them are past your level so they've moved on to another area.
Blizzard makes a hellava game - hands down the best mmorpg I've played to date. Reminds me of the first years of EQ.

I for one am extremely glad WoW doesn't have high-polygon graphics or voiceovers.
Why?
Graphics: An MMO, more than any other type of game, should run smoothly at high settings and not push a modern computer up to and beyond its limits. To do things any other way is just bad design from the start.
Voiceovers: Firstly, I found the voiceovers in Everquest 2 to be very poorly acted and spoken slowly and patronisingly as if they were being dictated to a confused child. And secondly, I don't want to have to tell my guild mates "Hold on a couple minutes... I just have to wait for this recorded message to finish playing before I can hear you guys again".
I assumed the EQ2 vs. WoW BS would have stopped once both games were out. I mean, who really has time to tear each game apart anymore?
Just people like CIM who want to seem "Uber".
And considering the amount of "opinions" i've read on here... this one seemed very unbiased. It was refreshing to see an opinion without blatant bashing.
And yeah, your english is fine dude... better than many people who have it as a Primary language

Well, if you ppl. want to listen to what ppl. with only a few hours in-game want to say, then go ahead. I'm just tired of seeing these types of reviews.
